Society of Feline Gardeners- Thursday in the Garden with Jonesie

::MEOWWWW::

I thought I should meow a bit louder this week, just because of all the stuff going on at my house this past week.

Turns out that I got one of the best tomato harvests EVER!  Woo hoo!  This is just some of the tomatoes we have harvested this week.

This year instead of the usual varieties we planted heirloom.  Of course mom didn't write down what we planted, so we have forgotten.  I couldn't read the tags on the plants either...sigh.  All I know is that I watched over them and made sure they got water and stuff...

Dad thanked me for all of my help since they could not have done it without me.

The sedum is getting more pink every day.  It's a sure sign that fall is almost here.

We got another surprise this week!  A second harvest of raspberries!  There are not that many, but they are sure appreciated.  You should have seen the way my mom and dad carried on about them.

It's embarrassing!

Hope you find wonderful surprises in your garden!

Your maters are beautiful! We have a few here but we only have one plant--and it never quite got staked up the way it should so it is sort of leaning--I guess that is what happens when you suddenly realize you are moving!

Wow!! Those are some really cool and pretty tomatoes!! They look like special jewels!! We loovvee them...though I don't think we would eat them (would you?)...that being said, we do like to lick a dish that had spaghetti sauce in it...that's with tomatoes, right? Maybe they would be good to put the bitie into!! And your raspberries? What a pretty picture...Mom nearly licked the computer screen. Silly Mom!! Would you believe that we saw some forsythia (yes!! Forsythia) in bloom a couple of days ago? Really weird! Your sedums are looking so pretty, we bet there are lots of flutterbys on them...they seem to like our sedum, too. Have a great rest of the week and thanks for sharing your picks/accomplishments with us...you are a real inspiration Jonesie!! Purrs, Lautrec, Tiny and those dawgs
