Tabby Tattletale Tuesday

I've been spending more time in the house this week.  I'm keeping watch on the bathroom litter box room project.  Things are moving slow but it's coming together.  I still can't believe they didn't choose brown and green as the color scheme.

Meanwhile, there's been drama in the garden.

Jonesie fell asleep.

So did Cecilia.

Taking advantage of their nap...Remington, our neighbor cat pawed RIGHT INTO THE GARDEN!  He put his paws right on Jonesie's spinach seedlings.

And then...::gasp:: he rolled on them!

Mom and Jonesie surveyed the damage and swear they believe they will survive just fine.

I am not so sure...

The cheeky brat!
Now, Jonesie and Cecilia, you need to smarten up your act a bit. Asleep on the job indeed!

OMC! I can't believe he did that! I think retaliation is in order. That was SO rude.

uhoh, asleep on the job! tsktsk!

hopefully the spinach will be fine, though. you know babies/kittens/seedlings, they're pretty tough!

Cecilia and Remington must try to roller to smooth-out the soil ; )

The nerve! Best you all stay alert from now on. Our neighbor cat Mimi came in the yard twice, then she and Jack had a noisy fight, and she stopped hopping over our fence. Jack says sometimes you gotta lay down the law.

Wow, that is pretty daring of that neighbor cat! I guess that's why you should never sleep when you're guarding the garden!

OMC, we can't believe they fell asleep--especially Jonesie!

Guess we'll have to wait till Thursday to see what Jonesie has to say about all of this!

Flattened but not fatal is a relief...I think the spinach will bounce back too :-)

Gasp - you'd better do a better job of patrolling the garden from intruders.

You are doing a great job supervising the litter box room and keeping your eyes on the introoder!!!

Jonesie and Cecilia shouldn't be told off for falling asleep on the job, 'cos I can vouch for the fact that gardening is VERY tiring werk.

Remington was VERY norty for trampling the spinach seedlings ~ he shud know better. Fact!

Love Alfie xx

Well hello Remington! We think your good looks outweigh your gardening transgressions...after all there were TWO homecats asleep at the wheel!

Uh oh! Falling asleep on introoder watch is not good.

I guess you are the bathroom renovation snoopervisor, Ginger. You'll have to light a fire under them or something!

I must say it is very disappointing to see Jonesie actually sleeping on the job -- especially when there are introoders around, ready to ruin the plants. Oh well! Efurryone makes a mistake now and then -- it's just feline.

Better a rolling cat than a mole! We have one got in our small crop framed bed (an mebbe cant find his way out). Every day, the tunnels lift up our seedlings an some are loose on the ground. We are very annoyed with Mr Mole right now!
