ManCat Monday

I got in trouble this weekend.

I came home without my collar and tag.  It would be ok if this was the first time this happened, but this was the second time in 2 weeks.  Mom had just bought me a super cool brand new pirate collar.    It's gone.  Poof.

I'm not saying what happened to it.

Mom won't let me go out without a collar and a tag.  She says it's a phone call home for a kitty without an iPhone.  Even though I'm micro chipped she says that's not enough.  A collar and a tag advertise to the world that you are loved.

So while mom orders me a new super cool collar and "Figaro" tag...I've got to wear Ellie's collar and her tag.  She never goes outside, mom just has one for her just in case...so I'm going undercover.

Incognito.

I hope my mancat furriends don't figure it out.

Figaro, you are sneaky! The cat before me was an indoor-outdoor cat, and she was ALWAYS losing her collar! It got so bad that my human kept a bunch of extra collars on hand. She would show up back home, all collar-less and proud, and whoosh! My human immediately would slip a new collar over her neck.

That's rather naughty, Figaro, but... I also lose my collar regularly. I am the only kitty in this house who wears a collar. #1 says that way she can hear trouble coming.... I don't wear a tag (I too am microchipped) but I do have a very noisy little bell... And #1 has a couple of spare collars for me (we get really cool ones from Etsy).

Figaro, The collar might not be your favorite thing but it tells other human, You are not a stray , Buddy !

I didn't like it in the first time but once I get use to it, It's nothing !

Actually, sometime I use the tag like a bell to wake my mom up ( hit my food bowl ), and it;s so fun !!!

hmmm, are you collars break-away collars? if so, i bet all you have to do is rub up against something and you're free of it, huh? but your mom is spending lots of money getting you new collars and tags, so maybe you should try to endure them a bit more and be careful about your rubbing. :(
