Calling All Angels

In honor of our furriend Sweet Praline who went the Bridge this past week, we are celebrating all of those who came before.

Calling All Angels.  Please go visit the Floof and Fur blog for our official celebration.

We have so many guardian angels in my family.  Today we want to remember Morgan and Gracie.  Mom is planning on making special pages on my blog for each of them in the near future.   Both of them left for The Bridge long before I was born.

Morgan was mom's best friend and soul mate.  They met when Morgan was a kitten at the Oregon Humane Society in 1979.

Morgan loved her Kliban Cat snug sack.
Her official name was Morgan le Fay.  She was called Munchkin, The Queen, Queen of All, Morgana-ana-danna, and lots more.  She was 18 when she left for The Bridge in early 1998.

Gracie is still referred to as the "perfect dog".  One of her veterinarians called her a Labrador in a Borzoi suit.  She was calm, loving, loyal, precious and perfect.  She was also beautiful.  She was about 5 months old in this photo when she was adopted and first came home.

This photo of Gracie was taken when she was about 5 years old.  Gracie lived to 14 years and 5 months.  Mom always counts the 5 months because they cherished every single day with her.   Gracie left for The Bridge about 2 months before Morgan in November of 1997.

I wish I could have met them.  I know they watch over us.

We're sending you purrs as you remember your angels today. We're participating in this, have a photo of both Annie and Chumley on the Floof and Fur site. It's very bittersweet.
