I'm a good girl. You can tell by looking at me, but there's been trouble all around me lately.
Figaro and Momma Ellie have been wrassling. Momma screams enough to wake the neighborhood...and everyone comes a running to help her. But you know what? She goes running right back for more!
Cory Mitten watches it all happen...and you know what? If her momma was in real trouble, she'd get in the mix...so would Grete. But they don't! They just watch and give her attention. Then Cory comes by when the screaming is over and sniffs her momma...and I bet you know what happens next. Yes, a tongue bath.
Easy stomach.
And they call me the Drama Queen?

Sometimes it's okay to do what you need to do to get some attention
Yes, I do think your mom is trying to get some attention.
Oh Grete!
How I wish I khould help!

Hmmm, we are thinking yer Momma is a drama queen. Dont get us wrong, drama is a good way ta get attention. We just like the sit-on-the-lap way.
Oh, we have lots of drama like that here too. Usually it is Binga who is behind it all. I did not have Ellie pegged as a drama queen. I guess appearances can be deceiving.
Now why would Figaro pick on Ellie, and why would Ellie be such a drama queen? All very interesting. Great report, GInger.
I fink Alfie might be a Drama-Prince ~ 'cos sumtimes when I whap him good and proper, he comes back for more! Tee hee!

Wrassling is fun - I do it with Raji and he yowels too. Looks like there is lots going on in your home!
Haha! Ellie is quite the actress, isn't she, Ginger??
You gotta have a bit of excitement in your life.
We think that Ellie is adorable with her wrasslin'! So cute!
Yep, sometimes ya just gotta shout it out!
Sometimes one of us will shout out and effurybuddy else comes running!
Sniffie and the Florida Furkids
Miss Ellie sounds like Suey. She is a little yelper, but as soon as us boys let her go she dives on in for more. Ginger, you look innocent and angelic as always ;)
MOL! We have a few screaming drama queens here too.
We agree that Ellie might like the attention! Or maybe the excitement - who knows!
Tasha does something very similar - she gets "mad" when the boys chase her, but if they do not chase her, she calls for them to come pay attention to her. The humans have learned to leave them all alone and let them work it out.
Ginger, of course you are a good Cat, it's obvious! teehee!
SomeCats at our house were doing the same thing last night at 12:50 AM. And 1:20 AM. And 2:50 AM. Mommy finally threw a magazine down the hall and it stopped. Mommy has wicked aim, even half asleep.
I think cats just love to wrassle even if it sounds bad!
Thank you very much for the comment you left on my blog, it's encouraging to hear from others who are or have been in the same boat.
That is so funny - Virgil is the same way when he wrestles! I can totally picture it! But we know that Cory would help immediately if her mom was in trouble - we think that they all know that Figaro wants to play because he is still little. And we bet that Ellie is putting on a bit of a show to make him feel good!
Oh goodness. Well, we guess Ellie is feeling a bit left out these days.....maybe.
Great photos!...It seems Ellie is having some fun and enjoying the attention; we love the belly shot!...Happy day, beautiful friends...Calle, Halle, Sukki
Yes, Ginger, we ALL know what a pawsome girl you are!
Wrasslin' ROCKS!
We still don't understand why it is "Cory Mitten" and not "Cory Sock".
My brother is like that. You would think he is being murdered sometimes when we rassle. Then mum comes to his rescue and as soon as she is gone he jumps on me and bites my ears.

We think everyone was having fun!

I just love your stories, Ginger! Haha! It's obvious that Momma Ellie likes to wrassle with Figaro, or she definitely wouldn't go back again.
I guess the screeching is all part of the fun -- it sure gets efurryone's attention, doesn't it?
By the way, Jonesie and Cory are on the LOLSpot today.
