Word of the Day on Wednesday

It's that time of year my furriends.  The basil is beautiful.

The garlic is harvested.

Yes, it's that time.
It's time to put the pest in pesto!!!
Yum!

Mom says she so needs to get some of that basil fur next year!

Someone gave her a basil plant this year but she's not fond of the type -

Humans say pest like it's a bad thing, but if we didn't pester them they would never get anything right.

Yum Pesto! And of course it has to have at least one cat fur - otherwise the recipe would be incomplete!

We hope you put the Pest in a whole lot more than just pesto...we try to add Cat Fur to everything Daddy cooks!

Mommy says: mmmmmmmmm, pesto.

Wait!! This looks like a blog for SOFG!! No? Whew!! I was so scared that I got my dates mixed up!! Your basil looks absolutely SUPERB!!! Great job growing it!! How's the pesto? Mom loves pesto, but we think basil smells like cat pee and we try to cover it up...which makes Mom laugh. Why?? Purrs, Lautrec and Tiny
