Thursday in the Garden With Jonesie

What an exciting week in the garden!  I had such a wonderful time celebrating my gotchbirthday with family and furriends.  I am honored that so many of you came by to join me.  I'm a very lucky girl.  I spent some time cleaning my fur after everyone left.

But, being a garden cat...gotta get back to work.  Problem is, mom and dad have been so busy, they have been slacking.  Dad realized that he missed his opportunity to move the garlic plants...he says they will stay in their non-garden patch until fall.  He ignored my pawing and insisting on the proper timing of things, but there is only so much a cat can do.  I can't do it all and must rely on others to do the heavy lifting.

There is one thing I want to do before I say so long until next Thursday...
I want to give you all an official thank you for being there for me.  I have the best family and friends in the whole world!

Please leave a link so I can come visit you!

I enjoyed visiting you on your special day. Thanks for inviting me over.

Yes, no rest for us gardening kitties. Humans are just so un-cooperative. Just look around my little garden and you'll see why.

Jonesie, your floofs are fabulous!

The only thing happening in our garden is rain. No, wait. And cold. But it's still nice being out on the patio.

PS. Hi, Cory! xo♥

We are also having problems with our garden hands too. Except our complaints are more along the lines of "please stop killing all the nip with your rubbish gardening!!!!!!!!".

We are happy to hear that you had a happy gotchabirthday. You deserve it, sweet girl:)

We have a garden post, yeah. It is a doggie, but our assistant says she will get some cats next time. This is great fun doing the 'garden' thing.
And you look like you have a big job in your garden. Our mom is a little slack too but she tries.
Have a great day.

Hi, Jonesie, it's so good to know there are other gardening kitties out there! This household has been helping our mom for 20 years of gardening, and she and Cookie are just about to write this year's first report. Here's an article she wrote about us on her blog: http://portraitsofanimals.wordpress.com/2009/04/13/my-feline-garden-sprites/. Come and visit some time!

WE have to thank YOU, Jonesie. It was so much fun celebrating with you and we learned quite a bit about your gardening techniques. Today we helped mom to clean our terrace. Ready for Spring over here!

We enjoyed your Gotchabirthday. Thank you for inviting us. For such a hard working gardening cat, you keep your furrs looking beautiful.

Mombean keeps saying the twins must be digging looking for china or something, whatever that means. Probably has something to do with them being so loud in the litterbox.

We enjoyed spending your birthday with you. Wish we could have stayed longer but duty calls. We has to try to get our beans to get their tail-ends in gear and start working in the garden. So much to do so little time. ~AFSS

Happy belated Gotcha Day Jonesie! I hope you had the most wonderful day. Gotcha days are better than birthdays in my opinion.
You look sooooooooo pretty out in your garden. I'm sorry the garlic didn't get moved when you told him to. Next year he'll know to listen.
I can't wait until my mommy gets out and plants in the garden!
