This may not look like much, but it's the only evidence I have that there is a cat sleeping here. See the slight cat imprint? Our guest Mr. Blue Eyes is eating lots of food, drinking lots of water, sleeping on the soft blankie...and using the litter box like a little champion...but he's doing it all in private. None of us has actually seen him except Ellie. She got to go in his room and peek under the couch. Now she is bringing little soccer balls to the door and dropping them for him.
It was a beautiful sunny day on Saturday and Grete finally got to play with her ball in the yard!
I took full advantage of the day and rolled in the dirt.
And I continued to roll.
And I hung out with the chives...I think I feel a song coming on...."cha cha cha chive talking, your telling me lies..." Oh never mind...back to my dirt!
Oh that feels so good. Girl can't grind enough dirt and grass into my fur...
Mom, thanks for trying to get it off me...but I'm just going back for more.
Happy Sunday!

Georgia always used to love that first spring roll in the dirt!
My favourite thing in the world is to roll in the dirt and get lots of bits stuck in my furs. It looks like you had a very satisfying roll, Bennette. We're happy to hear that Grete got to have fun with her ball, and that Mr. Blue Eyes sounds to be settling in:)
I am glad that Mr. Blue Eyes is eating, drinking, using the litter box and sleeping on the soft blankie. He will come out into the open in time. I bet Grete loved getting outside with her ball. You certainly had a really good roll in the dirt, Bennette.

Very sweet of Ellie to bring soccer balls to Mr. Blue Eyes!...And Bennette, you roll in the dirt like our Daddy Cat=with abandon, like you're having a wonderful time!!...Have a great Sunday...xo...Calle, Halle, Sukki
Bennette, that's an impressive roll you had. Look at that dirt!
Yay for Grete! We bet she was very happy to play with her ball, at last.
And we're glad Mr. Blue Eyes is eating and drinking and pooping, though it would be nice to see him. LOL.
Wow Bennette, you did a fabulous job with the dirt!!!
Grete, we are SO HAPPY you get to play with your ball again!
As for Mr. Blue Eyes, eat, drink and grow strong, little fellow! Good to know that Mama Ellie is looking out for you!

We were pleased to see grete enjoying her ball in the garden too.
Bennette, you are good at rolling in the dirt. We love to do the same thing and get ourselves all covered with stuff. And Grete good for you to be able to go and play with your ball again. That is really exciting. Hope all of you have a super Sunday
I kinda' did the same thing this weekend, only with dried 'nip.
Heaven I tell you!
It'a a nice day!
Bennette, we didn't know you were the BEE in Bee Gees! Looks like you know how to enjoy the warm weather. Yay for Grete getting to play finally! We hope Mr Blue Eyes makes an appearance soon, but it may take awhile. xoxo
Grete, we are so glad you got to go play with your ball in the yard.
We have been enjoying rolling in the dirt too. Mommy & Daddy even played in the dirt some this weekend.
Hope everyone gets to meet Mr. Blue Eyes soon. We thinks he just needs some time to feel safe. ~AFSS
Aw, seeing you roll in the dirt, Bennette, made us wish we could go outside ourselves, but it's still cold and wet here today!!
We think it's just a matter of time before Ol' Blue Eyes shows them!
Oh yes! We know how good rolling in the dirt is Bennette. We love it too. That is sweet of Ellie to take little balls to Mr. Blue Eyes.
Grete, we are glad you can get to play with your ball again.
Ellie has found a new kitteh to mother! :) And Grete, we are very happy you get to play again.
Nothing like rolling in dirt on a sunshine day :)
What a wonderful post! It's nice to see that efurryone is happy! Including Mr. Blue Eyes -- I'm sure he's happy to have lots of food and a soft bed, even if he's not quite up to company yet.
And it's fantastic that's Grete's back to normal again, and able to enjoy some of her favourite games again.
And Bennette reminds me so much of Domino rolling around in the dirt. Dylan does that, too, but Dante doesn't for some reason.
I really wonder what purpose it serves to roll around like that? Perhaps it's to get the scent of spring all over themselves, who knows? Do you?
Sunshines, dirt and grass. What cat could ask for more?
We are gonna run back out and have a good roll ourselves now.
Oh, it looks like Spring.
You got real dirty there! Did you clean it all yourself?
Rolling in the dirt is fun, isn't it? :)
Happy spring!
All that dirt in your furs!!! My mommy would have a fit. I'll bet it was fun!
You are lucky you get to go outside and roll in the grass!! Bet it feels fun :)
We would love to get outside and smell all the cool smells, heehee

Wow! You sure made the most of that dirt. I don't think you could have gotten any more on you if you tried... Good work!
Looks like a great Sunday for everyone!
Ah, sweet Mama Ellie bringing Mr. Blue Eyes some toys. That is just about the sweetest thing we've heard in a long time!
Bennette, Gandalf really misses rolling in the dirts! Have fun!
PS. Hi, Cory xo♥
Its great to get lots of dirt in your furs and then to bring it in and leave on the couch.. Glad Mr Blue eyes is settling in and I am sure he will show himself when he is ready.. Hugs GJ xx
When mom made me go outside a few days ago that's how I paid her back - she hauled me in and brushed me real good! Hmm, sounds like a win-win to me! Sometimes she thinks she can walk me like a drooly woofie! Am I that big? I don't think so! But I guess since there aren't many woofies around here, SOMEONE has to guard the place!
Mom is 'sow' glad she didn't read this one until now -
Or she would have had a BeeGee earworm riding with her to WV and bakhk!

PeeEssWoo: Hi Grete!
We both do enjoy a good roll in the dirt too. But judging by the stickage, you have better dirt than we. Mooooom!
We love to hear that Mr. Blue is savouring the good facilities at your place. Ellie is the sweetest!
Oh my...dirt in the furs! How exciting that spring is here! We see Mr Blue Eyes...no, we don't but we know he found a comfy spot!
How sweet of Ellie! We hope Mr Blue Eyes comes out!
We're so glad you have dirt to roll in, Bennette, and Grete got nice weather to play with her ball! We got snow here.
