Missing Nigel

Thank you for all of your purrs of support.   We are all getting adjusted to Nigel watching over us instead of being here in the fur.

I want you all to know that I loved him.  Not always in the way that he wanted me to, but I loved him.   We are taking comfort in knowing that I gave him a good tongue bath on Friday night.  He loved me scrubbing his ears.

I will miss his incredibly soft and manly fur and his love for all of us.

It may take a few days, but mom is planning to put together a tribute post.  She wants to dig through his photos over the past 5 years.

Headbumpies and purrs to all of you. It's hard to lose a special cat. I was not myself for quite some time after Georgia left us.

Mama Ellie, we all are so sad about Nigel. But you know, it makes us very happy to know that he did get some grooming from you--he flew to Heaven with clean ears and a heart full of love. We miss Nigel very much.

We were so sorry to hear of Nigel's crossing that bridge. So sad, but at least he is at peace and running free. Big HUGS for his humans.

We understand how your Mom feels and also how hard it is to look back over those 5 years worth of photos. Mom did that for our Gracie and will do a posting for her next month. We hope to get her home for good very soon. *soft purrs* for your Mom and everyone missing Nigel.

We are sorry we haven't been by before now, but wanted to say how very sorry we are that you lost Nigel. He was a one of a kind, and we'll glad he had a chance to live the good life for the last few years. Such a simple thing can make an incredible difference in an animal and we're sure he was grateful for your home and love. Our deepest condolences.

It was only a few days ago that I left condolences for you on Nigel's passing, now you've done the same for my Bear-Bear. It's always hard, these losses, but it helps when people understand the feelings. Thank you.
