::Meowwww::
Hi there everyone! Yes, I am taking an enforced break from gardening. Apparently my timing is good since we are all on official lockdown. Did you know that as my mom helps me with this post, it's 22 degrees outside? Tomorrow the high will be 28! Brrrrr.
There may be snow on the way too. I'm not so sure about snow. I think snow is shy. If the weatherman predicts it, it won't show up.
Anyway, I know that some of you are curious about my treatment and how I'm doing. I'm feeling pretty good. Truth is, except for getting a few pokes at the vet, I think that maybe they forgot to do something else to me. I think the radioactive iodine treatment was pretty easy. Now I just have to be patient while it leaves my system.
I don't go back for a recheck until March, so until then, I just hang out. My pee and stuff from my litter box has to be kept in a separate garbage can and mom and dad have to wait until April to put it out with the trash. Can you imagine that? Saving my stuff for 2 months! Rules say I can go out in the yard, but I can't leave my yard, so we'll see how it goes with the weather.
Maybe I can get some supervised time outside before too long.

Wow! That's amazing that they are keeping your stuff. I wonder if they can sell it for lots of money?
We're glad you're doing so well.

The treatment sounds pretty tame, but all the stuff that goes on around it sounds like kind of a big deal!
It's great to hear you are feeling so well. When we went through I-131, we had to save five cats worth of litter until the recheck since we had a shared litterbox. We think the vet was a bit shocked at how much we brought back for them to dispose of!
We are very happy to hear that you are doing well, Jonesie! Your weather sounds nasty. Ours is not as cold but it is pretty nasty out, so no run time for us today!
Purrs,

We hope you're getting extra cuddles during your recuperation time, Jonesie. Stay warm!
We are so glad the treatment wasn't a problem for you and you are safe at home now.
We are dreaming of warmer weather. Can you believe our gardening post has ice in it?
We're glad you're doing well. Never thought about having to keep the litter separate, and then wait to dispose of it, but that makes sense.
Continued purrs for your recovery!
Thanks to share the news.
Purrinnnng!
Wow--we're glad the treatment wasn't so bad! Jenna's grandpawrents used to clean their cat litter boxes and dump the "treasures" in a covered pail. They never kept it for 2 months, though!
We hope both yer weather an health are back ta normal soon! BTW, make sure no bad Beins steal yer active radio pee. Cod knows what they might think ta do with it!
The things in your yard are dormant, just like in ours, so it won't miss you for sometime. We keep hoping for a warm-up but that stoopy groundhog says more winter. Boo…hiss! Stay in and stay warm. Purrs and paw-pats, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
So glad you're doing well!! Purrs!
Glad you is inside in this weather, gardening can wait for awhile.
Seriously, the beans has to keep your output for a couple of months...that's, uh.,uh.. interesting.
Stay warm and safe efurrybody!
