Society of Feline Gardeners- Thursday in the Garden with Jonesie

 ::Meowwww::

Welcome back to my garden!  It's been such a wonderful week.  We've had sunny and warm weather and everything in my garden looks lovely.  Mom says that includes me.  ::blush::
Last weekend was Grete woofies 6th birthday.  She said she was amazed at how many kitty furriends she has...and special woofie furriends too.  From all over the world.  Grete and I hung out together while we waited for our pals to teleport over.
 I'm very excited that our new peach tree is growing little peaches.  I will purr and purr to make sure they grow big and sweet.  Just like my Grete.
 Our grape plants are doing well.
 If you look closely you can see the grapes!  They are still tiny, but they will get bigger I just know it.
 We had a lady bug hanging out on the grape plants.  She thinks they are cool too.
 The best part of the day is when my daddy thanks me for all my hard work and snoopervision.  He can't do it without me and he makes sure to let me know how much he loves me.

We are so impressed with your grapes. When the humans were in California, did you know the vineyard they saw did not tie the grapes up like that but left them to just hang with a single stake to hold up the trunk? I forget why they chose to do that. Still it made more shade to lie under...

Wow, there is a lot of good stuff happening in your garden, Jonesie! When my human was growing up, her parents had a peach tree in the backyard... yeah, a peach tree in southern California, in the hot, arid San Fernando Valley! I think they got one peach before it keeled over and died.

Wow Jonesie your peach tree is fantastic!!! We gave some friends a peach tree for their housewarming and when the tiny peaches started to grew the squirrels ate every single one :( Obviously they need a gardening cat like you to keep them away!!!

Thank you so much for leaving words of comfort for me on the passing of my beloved cat, Alex. Marc and I are heartbroken. We know we did the right thing, and every day we realize how much Alex was “preparing us” during the last few weeks, but it doesn’t make it any easier. We can’t stop the tears…. But having wonderful friends, like you, and the support of the CB is making it better….
