::Meowwww::
I'm still spending all my time indoors, but I've found that I'm able to snoopervise the garden from the windows. We had a beautiful weekend of sunshine last week, so I gave dad his marching orders.
Dad's first task was to take out our fig tree. I hate to admit it, but my mom and dad never ate any of them...they even tried drying them, but they still didn't eat them. So I meowed "enough" and had them take it away.
It created quite the mess...yeah kitties...I know what you are thinking. It looks like awesome kitty litter.
There was a pile of wood left over too. Maybe I can warm my paws by the fire pit this summer!
Grete was shocked!!!
Dad immediately planted the replacement tree. We are beyond excited because it's an olive tree! It's an arbequina olive tree that's supposed to grow well where we live. As a garden cat, I'm always up for a challenge. I guarantee if there are any olives on it, they will be eaten.
Yes...I can see dad did a good job with the planting. I can also see something else that makes me purrr...
Young tender fresh nip!!!!

And will you get olives and olive oil? How long before such a tree fruits? That sounds so cool!
Yay for the olive tree, and for your parents listening to the master gardener!
You're awfully adorable doing your supervising duty!
Paws up for fresh nip! Too bad you could not have moved that fig tree down to us - the humans are both dying for a fig tree! They LOVE fresh figs and miss the tree they planted at the old house (they named it "Figgy Pop").
How awesome having an olive tree. Mom and I think that's really cool.
Love Alfie xx
You make an awesome snoopervisor, my friend!!
Jonesie, you are quite the taskmaster...even from inside! We'll be interested in how that olive tree does!!
Great snoopervising, Jonesie, even if it was from the window.
We can't wait to see fresh olives on your tree...
Looks like spring is lust around the corner for you.
Wow, that's a whole lotta work going on, bravo!
Supervising of the gardening is very important work. I find that the peep generally NEEDS my advice and support. After all, she's just a peep.
You guys are doing lots of work in your wonderful garden, adorable Jonesie!...And fresh nip=awesome!!!...We also loved Cory's beautiful photo yesterday!...xoox...Calle, Halle, Sukki
I think your olive tree is fantastic!!!
Yeah, a new olive tree and catnip! You're the master, Jonesie!
Ooooooooooooooo nip!!!!!!
We hope thatyou get to go back outside Jonesie, but you are doing a great job snoopervising from the window!
Thanks for visiting me! Can't wait to see more of your garden. In the spring my mommy is going to plant a nip plant for me!
Our mum loves olives and wishes she could get an olive tree to grow here. She loves figs too, but we were more interested in your nippy plant.
That looked like cat nip!!!! Mommy likes figs but she is the only one but we cats love the fig tree cause the birds practically live in it when it has fruit on it. We likes to lay under it just waiting for them to show up.
It looks like there's a lot going on in the garden, Jonesie. Great job snoopervising from inside (where it;s warm)! :)
I wish I had garden minions! You are the best!
