Tabby Tattletale Tuesday

It's been an interesting week here.  Ok, with all of us kitties and a woofie how can it not be interesting?  So anyway, the big news around here is that Grete woofie has been put on limited activity for 2 whole weeks by the v-e-t!  I'm not sure you know this, but her ability to go and get her ya ya's out at the dog park make living with her bearable.  Now that she can't rough and tumble...she's making our lives miserable.

It all started last Saturday when she went to the dog park.  She went up to a couple of golden retrievers with her squeaky ball and instead of chasing her, they roughed her up.  The humiliation of being roughed up by a couple of golden retrievers is bad enough.  Now she has to take it out on all of us while her shoulder gets a little less tender.  She whines and moans and I swear she is talking a strange doggie language that none of us understand...although my mom and dad said she's saying "take me to the dog park" "throw my ball".  Since she can't what's she doing?  She tries to interfere with our cat games, tries to break it up when we wash each other...sheesh.  What a pain.  I'm counting the days until next Saturday.

Jonesie has also begun to act all mysterious...and muttering things about having a special visitor.  Like she's all that.  Doesn't she know that even if we did get visitors it would be for me?

Sweet Grete! That's AWFUL. You were set upon by a bunch of gangster golden retrievers? We hope they're in lock-up! We think Ginger is being too harsh on you, so would like to extend an invitation for you to come and recover at our house.

Grete, I hope that you heal up fast so you can get back to chasing your ball and going to the dog park. Try not to be too hard on the kitties.

Poor Grete! You were just trying to start a nice game of ball and this happens. We hope you heal double quick!!

Poor Grete! How nasty of those big Golden Retrievers! You'll have to give Grete some slack, Ginger.

Poor Grete! Just wanting to play and got beat up. Probably a little bit of pit bull in those nasty goggies, we think so!

Oh, dear, poor Grete. Sending lots of healing vibes to her. The faster she gets better, the quicker she'll be able to burn off her energy outside and stop pestering you. Those Golden Retrievers need some discipline!

Poor Grete! Bad woofies shouldn't be allowed to come to the Dog Park! We hope Grete feels better soon.

Poor Grete! That's just plain wrong! I sure hope the owner of the other woofies helped you out afterwards.

Grete seems to have such a gentle nature and it's definitely not something she would expect to happen. I sure hope she's 100% again soon, and that she can get to the dog park. It's wonderful that she doesn't seem to be traumatized by the attack.

Who can blame her for wanting to mess with kitties in the meantime? She's got to have some fun!
