You wouldn't believe what's been going on here. We've had a kitty cold running rampant through the house. Everyone thinks it started with me, but they can't pin it on me. Nope. Then everyone's been getting it except for Madison and Cecilia who are in the shop and Jonesie. The reasons for this have become clear. You see, I couldn't even figure it out, then mom and dad started calling Ellie "Typhoid Mary". Turns out she's the one spreading it because she's the one washing everyone! Ewwww...what I thought was love was Ellie's little way of infecting us all. She got over it, but by washing Bennette...she got it again! Mom and dad have finally separated Ellie and she is in quarantine. None of the rest of us like each other enough to spread it around. Jonesie doesn't even like Ellie washing her and that is how she has stayed well. Smart girl. Seems I can learn more than gardening from her.
Then...all was calm and "little miss perfect sweetheart" Cory was licking on mom all sweet and manipulative like and then Cory put the chomp on mom's finger. Acted as if my mom should enjoy it. The nerve of that little whippersnapper! And then, just when I thought mom would realize that I am the real sweetheart around here, mom makes a fuss over Cory. "Oh she didn't realize my finger wasn't cheese"...mom didn't even have cheese on her finger. That little piranha in cat's clothing gets away with stuff all the time. It's not fair. Mom even had to go to Urgent Care and get a tetanus shot and antibiotics...she still thinks Cory is sweet and innocent. And guess who was asleep and purry in mom's lap when she got back from the clinic? Cory. Sheesh. Cory claims that she was just trying to re live her babyhood where she used to nom gently on mom's finger. I know better. I didn't just fall off the turnip truck.

That's really tough when there's a cold going round with kitties who lick each other. Especially a loving kitty like Ellie! I'm sure she didn't mean any harm. I hope efurryone gets well soon.

Cory, I wouldn't worry about putting the bitey on your mum like that. I've done it to mum and dad and they don't seem to mind too much.
What a story, Ginger. We can't believe it. Your poor mommy! Ouchies are no fun end especially not when they are from us cats. We're sorry that Ellie is in quarantine, but that might be a clever thing to do.
