You wouldn't believe what happened this week. First of all, we are all very upset because mom and dad are not eating meat or dairy right now. There is still cheese in the fridge so Coryspoiledwhippersnapperppoutyface still gets cheese on demand. I personally don't like it at all, so what good does that do me? Where's my chicken? Where's my steak? And if you think I'm going to develop a taste for lentils...forget it. When I moved in here I had certain expectations. They better not mess with my cat food, that's all I got to say. And guess what? Mom and dad are actually happy because we no longer jump on the table to steal their food. It's not worth stealing!
But on to the real story of the week. You see Bennette was hanging out in the bathtub. She was acting all suspicous so mom asked her what she was doing? She pawed a bit, then purposefully and deliberately walked her Tuxie self over to the bathtub drain, positioned her cute little rear right over the drain and went pee! Yes, you got that right. That stinker went pee right down the drain! And mom was so stunned she just watched in awe. She didn't yell or nothing. Mom is now convinced that Bennette has been doing this all along because she was so perfect about it all...if mom didn't see it happen she would have never known. There is a drip from the bathtub faucet so it's kind of self cleaning, right? I for one am impressed so I'm handing this post over to Bennette.
Yes, I'm a genius. If I were human I'd be a rocket scientist.

I think they should just buy you your own cow. I am very impressed with Bennette!
You might want to keep an eye on Bennette because sometimes peeing in the tub is a sign of a bladder infection. Cats will avoid the litter box if they associate it with pain, I was heading for the bathtub to pee in two weeks ago when I had a little bladder issue happening. Hopefully that's not why she is peeing in the tub. xo, Busby
You guys know you can come over this way for the meat, right? Our mummy would welcome you with open arms!!
You can come over here on Fridays for steak night. I'm sure Herman would share. I am also impressed with Bennette. I just hope that she doesn't have any issues.
Lots going on (or not...) over at your place. Sorry about the change in food situation. We would probably go on strike if there was no longer any ham around...
What a clever girl you are, Bennette!
We wish you hadn't told that story. After 10 weeks off us peeing on the floor next to the toilet because the Litter Kwitter freaked us out, mum gave up. We had her thinking it was the Kwitter itself that was silly...
Oh! Zoey likes to pee all over the bathtub, too. We haven't figured out why, yet. We just know to keep the bathroom door shut so she actually uses the box!
You are a smart girl Bennette to figure out how to use the self cleaning litter box in the tub!!...Check out the bladder infection to be safe.
Wow. That's impressive, Bennette!
Well, let them mess with their own foods, Ginger, but they better not mess with your foods!! And that's something about Bennette! We're quite impressed!!
We wouldn't jump on the table for lentils, either. Yuck.
Bennette, you are pretty clever, but are you sure you are feeling okay? UTI? Maybe your mom needs to check to make sure you are healthy. Or maybe you just don't like the kind of litter in your box/boxes? Or the type of box? Or where the box is? Still, you're a very smart girl! If any of us did that, we think mom would totally freak!
No meats? No chick-hen? No HAM??????????
Isn't there a law against that? On the other paw, Cory probably enjoys the veggies!
Sniffie and the Florida Furkids
What is it with our humans? Last night ours had tacos, but it wasn't real hamburger, it was the imposter stuff. What's up with that? Thank goodness there was some cheese though!
Bennette, that is one of the funniest things we've ever heard! We're laffin and laffin. Can't wait to try it for ourselves in our mom's claw foot tub.

Beans got problems if us cats don't want to steal their foods...they must be eating some really awful stuffs. Benette..you are my idol.
Humans can be funny about food, but as long as they don't change your diet who cares ;-)
We're very impressed by Bennette. Clever!
Hmmmm that's very impressive.I gotta go to the tub now ...Bye
Hahahahaha! Bennette, our little Chilli admires you even more now. That's a pretty cool thing to do. Nice one!
You are way cool, Bennette!!!!!!!!!
Gloman and I use to play water games in the tub. I'd jump in (no water in the tub) and he'd pour just a cup of water in for me to play with. Glogirly put the kibosh on it because she was tired of cleaning up our so-called "mess." Whatever.
But PEE? I don't think I'd like to play with my own pee. So you better take Busby's advice, go to the V-E-T, and make sure all is right down there.
mew!
Katie
(Glogirly's cat)
Oh I agree, get the pee thing checked just in case...maybe trade the bathtub in on some beef or chicken!
No dairy or meat????? They should at least have the decency to bring meat in the house for you! At least tuna or something!!
Peeing down the drain.....wow!!! When Meowm was younger she had a kitty that started peeing in the toilet. It turns out his kidneys were failing. Is Bennette healthy? We would just hate for her to be ill and that be the reason she is doing this.
oh my! so much going on in your house! well i understand your mama and daddy becaue I too am "flirting with vegan" as you can see on my blog page: http://ihavecat.wordpress.com/flirting-with-vegan/
I can't believe your brother peed down the drain! is he in his teenage rebellion phase i wonder??!
Thanks for visiting my bloggie and reading Glogirly's guest post. She, Katie and Gloman are pretty entertaining aren't they?!
also, adding you to my blog roll now since i'm really enjoying your posts!
Bennette, Toy here....I also use the tub urinal, lately Mom has kept her bedroom door closed because Tinker was peeing everywhere so I use Grammom's shower drain. Sometimes ya hafta improvise right! (=^Y^=)
Wow Bennett, right in the drain? That is pretty impressive! I guess it means your mom doesn't have to change the box as often, since you aren't using it.
Jeez Bennette, I think that's kind of cool thinking! I like the lack of need to clean up...and no extra flushing. I, too am impressed.
~Lisa Co9T
That's very impressive Benette that you aim right down the drain and don't just make the whole of the tub wet.
We wouldn't ask for lentils either!
Uh oh, I hope they don't expect the kitties to go vegetarian/vegan as well.
Bennette is one smart kitty. SS wishes that I would emulate.
The Big Thing here: You are a very clever kitty, Bennette! LC did that a few times, too. She had noticed water disappeared down the drain, so she figured it was a good way to make pee disappear too!
My congrats to both of you for figuring that out... :)
No meat or dairy? Momma's not supposed to have that either but she CHEATS sometimes. Then regrets it. I hope Bennette isn't sick...but you know, now Momma wants to know why WE don't pee down the drain instead of making 400 giant clumps in the litter box that she has to clean...thanks Bennette.
Bennette - you are very smart! My WV cousin does the same thing...
Wow that's impressive! Just don't try for the other down the drain.
I sure hope they don't mess with your food!
My mom is a vegetarian and the only thing her food is good for is to bat around on the floor. When my mom tried to transition us to a self-cleaning litter box, my brofur, Ambrose, did the same thing in our bathtub.
I'm impressed!
Oh we just love yoor tattle tale posts ~ they are such fun! And we are VERY impressed wiv Benette's skills ~ wot wiv her being a gerl an' all!
Milo and Alfie xx
All these tips about making sure it isn't a UTI are excellent suggestions though if you find out it's "behavioral" and not "medical" the behaviorists say it's fairly common for cats to pee in sinks and tubs and even have a name to describe it...the sink hole effect, hahameow (really)
