The truth is out. Everyone in my family was all excited to see how I'd react to Christmas seeing how it's my first Christmas here. I had been on my own for who knows how long before I moved in, so I think they thought I was some sort of cave man. Not so.
I was acting pretty cool during the Christmas Eve dinner. I was pretty scarce and stayed out of the way. Nothing much revealed there. Then, on Christmas morning, after I was certain that Santa Paws had been around...at 5:15am to be exact, I started hollering. Was my food bowl empty? Nope. I was just getting impatient. I wanted the festivities to begin. Now! I pestered and pestered until mom and dad got up. Then Ginger had to go out and do her morning thing in the yard...and, you'll never believe this...we actually had to wait for her. It was awful! It was 7am before she came back in the house. I meowed and fussed until I got to open presents. I knew what day it was! We each got our very own very potent catnip mousie. It was awesome even if I did have to wait forever to finally get to play.
Grete got a couple of cool toys. One was a moo cow that actually mooed. That is in past tense. She loved it so much she kept on biting it and tossing it around and biting it some more and now the mooer doesn't moo any more.
Life is good. So no, I am not a cave man and yes...perhaps I have been through this Christmas gig before.
