Momma Meezer Monday

Being a momma means the world to me. I take my role seriously. When my mom was home from work, we watched the Today Show together. There were women on the show who were talking about raising "authentic" girls". I listened carefully because even though my Cory is all grown up, she is still my baby girl and she still needs her mother's guidance. I had my mom help me google about this and this is what I found. 1. Blogging empowers girls- I've got my Cory on the right path there.

2. As a parent it's ok to question boy craziness- hmmmm, well I approve of Whitey, so I'm gonna let Cory go with her heart on that one.

3. Take healthy risks- does stealing food count?

4. As a mother, set limits- I do rule the house with a velvet paw and I don't let my Cory out of my sight. If you look closely you can see that Cory is with me in this picture.
That's right, she's in the basket.

I'm proud of my daughter. She makes me purr.

I bet you are a fantastic Momma cat. It really does sound like Cory is on the right track. I wish all my kits were as wonderful but then they were taken from me so young...

You are a very good momma-cat! We can tell! Cory's a great cat!

Thank you for coming to our party! We've added Pixie and Dixie to our list of Not-Food-and-Not-Things-Cats-Do-To-Food list. But why Pixie and Dixie? Are those names special to you? And can we add a third -ixie name to make three?

We got a few good ideas for themes for all the rats too, so we're debating the name issue now.

What a good mama you are, Ellie, to be concerned about your daughter's emotional well-being, as well as her physical-being. Not all mama's are as wise as that! I wish I had you for a mama when I was growing up.

You have raised a lovely young ladycat, Ellie. You could write a book and be on the Today show yourself!

Ellie, you have done a wonderful job, and continue to do so. Thank you for your kind words about Whitey. We think he may be blushing just a bit.

PS. Hi, Cory! ;-)

You're such a great mama, Ellie! Cory is lucky to have you with her, so few of us have our cat mama around to provide such great guidance as you do for her. (Can we all adopt you as our mama?)

Purrs and hugs,
