Thursday in the Garden with Jonesie

I have been doing a lot of work this week helping mom and dad harvest the veggies and herbs. They depend on me to figure out what is ripe and ready to go. I approved of the basket, and I show how happy I am by taking a nap next to it. Notice how I still keep my eyes open so no introoders can walk off with my prize crop. We have squash, eggplant, peppers and basil.
The garlic is finally ready to go. We dug up all of it at once. I'm an expert digger.

Dad was cleaning up excess stuff in the garden. I like to ride along in the cart, but here you can see I had other pressing tasks so I had to jump off the cart and get back to work.

This past week, my good furriend and garden-cat-in-training, Alfie Marshall, demonstrated how quickly the student can become the master. He showed everyone how to harvest and preserve chives and parsley. I told my mom about it and she was very interested. She promised me that we could give this a try. Here I am trying to pick the best herbs.

The other day, I know Ginger was complaining about me stalking her. I have no idea what she is talking about... I was just minding my own business. She tends to exaggerate quite a bit.
Tomorrow, Cory is planning on showing you what she did with my chives and it's not what you think.

Tabby Tuesday

If you got it... flaunt it...

It's ok to get up close...
The camera loves me...
And I love the camera...
My sister Jonesie was watching me while I was modeling for this photo shoot. She got all jealous and then she stalked me and chased me! Can you believe that? I deserve better. I mean she doesn't have to pick on me just because I'm beautiful. You'd think my mom would have taken pictures of that...prove that precious Jonesie is really a pest...but no!
Meanwhile, my squirt sister Cory was a bit taken with all this talk of "As the Paw Turns"...and she's been spending too much time looking at the Mancat blogs. We're all trying to figure out who she really likes. Ellie's not talking. I set up a poll to help me get to the bottom of it! Inquiring cats want to know.

Momma Meezer Monday

I have a lot on my mind lately. Nigel really likes me, I can tell. I have given him a few licks on his head and I bring him little soft soccer balls and drop them right by him. Everything seems to go well, and then it all goes wrong. We will be sitting together all nice and then for some reason he goes all cave man on me. He throws his big beefy paw over my neck and tries to wrestle with me. What a brute! Mom tries to counsel him..."nose taps buddy boy" "that's no way to win her heart"...and he seems to listen, but by then the mood is all ruined. Sigh.

Nigel is a good mancat. He gets along with my daughter Cory, he's handsome...we'll see. I may have to go on E-Harmony to find my perfect match. Meanwhile, my little girl Cory has been spending WAY too much time looking at certain mancat blogs...I try to tell her she'll only get her heart broken, but I can't stop her.
