::Meowwww::
Welcome back to my garden. I'm sorry that I missed last week. It wasn't much of a good time to post. It bucketed down rain ALL weekend long and it was windy.
This past weekend the weather was much better and all my furriends were out and about.
Remember my good furriend and rescue Meezer, Mr. Blue? Well he's been living the good life next door. When mom took this picture this was as close as she could get to him...but a couple of nights ago he came up and let her pet him!
Such great progress. I hear mom mumbling about how handsome he is.
It's true. I'm good pals with him now. I need to let him know all about 'tocktober.
My deck is a mess. Dad gets the noisy wind machine and cleans it off all the time...but within a day it looks like this.
Since it's been wet, my dad can't mow the lawn as often as I would like. My paws disappear in the tall grass.
It's just wrong. Good news is that a couple of days after I posed for this photo op, Dad finally mowed the lawn. I will continue to purr for dry days so he can keep things neat and trim.

Oh look at Mr. Blue! I just realized we are reading your posts later and later!
I kind of like the wild look of unmown grass myself. But then, we are not good gardeners here, any of us!
It's getting to be that time of year when the weather is just so unpredictable. Jonesie!
Purrs,

It's so nice that Mr. Blue is getting friendlier when he visits.
Nice to see Mr. Blue. We tend to like long grass around here, more bugs to play with.
We are glad to hear Mr. Blue is becoming friendlier. Is nice to have a kitty friend next door :)
We keep praying for rain. After too much rain and flooding in the spring, the ducks are now walking on the riverbed as only inches of water remains. We'd like to see an up-close photo of Mr. Blue. Can you guess why? Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Wow, Jonesie, good thing your dad finally cut the grass. Otherwise, you woulda gotten lost out there!
That's pretty cool that you and Mr. Blue are friends now, Jonesie! Look at all those leaves on your deck ... fall has definitely arrived.
Our leaves are beginning to fall down now.
Your garden is beautiful even with floofier grass. The building management at my mom's job stopped mowing some of the lawn, and when employees asked why, they said it's now a "prairie garden". Mom wishes she could get away with not mowing our yard and calling it a prairie garden too.
We had buckets of rain here 4.5" late last week. Fortunately, TBT mowed the lawn just before the rains came, the ground was dry so it sucked in all the rain (even the drainage easement barely flowed), so its not too wet outside now.
I love your garden!!!
Lucky guys!
that long grass must make your furs wet! We loved your post. Good news about making friends. Its great to catch up with you again. Love Darcy, Bingley and Helen xxx
