::Meowwww::
It's been HOT this week! Even so, you can tell fall is coming soon. The days are getting shorter and I have to come inside the house WAY earlier.
Sigh.
For a garden cat that means I have to get all my work done in less time.
I had to meow at my mom to let her know that we had a mini 2nd crop of raspberries. My dad and I discovered them together.
We put them in a bowl.
They were a nice surprise so late in the season. Of course it made me purrrr.
One of our artichokes didn't get picked and so it flowered! I think it's pretty. Mom and dad got enough of them to eat so we'll just admire this one.
I promised you a photo of my new furriend and neighbor Mr. Blue. Mom didn't get close, but was able to take this picture through the fence while Mr. Blue rested on his deck.
Grete and I still find plenty of time to play together.
With summer's end coming soon, a girl has got to appreciate the last beautiful and warm gardening days.

We have an artichoke that is coming up on our plant. The woman thinks it looks a bit scrawny but it is the only one this year (just planted) so she will probably let it bloom unless it gets really big! Your berries and chokes look great!
It looks like another successful season for you, Jonesie!
We've never seen an artichoke flower before!!
We gave you an award on our blog today!

We never knew artichokes bloomed, how pretty. And those raspberries look delicious.
Artichokes have flowers? They're pretty! We think we would have had to had a taste of those raspberries in the bowl. Did you try them?
You've done a good job this year in your garden, Jonesie. Those raspberries look tasty...and fun to play with!
What a delicious and fun time you have!!!!!
I love raspberries!!!!
Those raspberries look delish. Our mommy loves all berries, and they are so pricey in the store. Dad buys them for her anyway. And artichokes. Our pawrents love those. Thanks for the garden report! Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Misty May, Mauricio, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Mmm...those raspberries look yummy! We've gotten a few too lately.
