Society of Feline Gardeners- Thursday in the Garden with Jonesie

::Meowwww::

Welcome back to my garden!  It's been a week full of so much work!  The garden seems to come alive all at once!  It's all I can do to keep it under constant snoopervision.  In an effort to bring order to my world, I called a meeting...

Figaro and Ginger were NOT paying attention!  It was all I could do to impress upon them the importance of keeping up with garden chores in the spring.  If we all lend a paw, it will be easy.

Boys.

I had to purrsonally escort Ginger to his assignment...as you can see, keeping him on task is nearly impossible.  Mom said it's a good thing he's handsome...and very sweet.

And what's in it for a garden cat?

Intense happiness and pride when I see that a plant...oh sweet precious artichoke plant...is producing it's very first baby artichoke!

The grapes are expected to have some fruit this year!

And when I sit in the grass and look to the sky I see pink and white dogwood blossoms.

The air is filled with the smell of spring flowers.   Life is good.

Baby artichokes already? Wow! Our trees don't even have leaves yet, just buds, for the most part.

But as for trying to get other kitties to help...You know that expression, right--if you want something done (and done properly) you have to do it yourself!

We think that is the first artichoke plant we've heard of in a home garden :)

Your dogwood tree is lovely!

You, Jonesie, are clearly exceptional in your dedication as a gardener. Too bad your staff tends to wander occasionally...

Maybe you need a cat team building of some sort to get everyone moving with you =^.^=
Spring is beautiful isn't it?

Thank you for stopping by my bloggie and sending good purrs and thoughts for Milou. He is doing better and we hope he will be fine now!

Hmm, grapes? Artichokes? Why don't you get a tuna bush? Or a salmon tree? Now THAT'S the kind of gardening I could really get interested in!

What a lovely garden you have, all the works you does is definitely worth it.

Our mom is sooooo jealous! We still has some snow and the ground is too wet and cold.

Jonesie, it sounds like you have your paws full with Figaro and Ginger, but you must have gotten through to them, because your garden looks fabulous.
