Welcome back to my garden! Lucky for me, mom got over her nasty cold and she was able to assist me with photos of my garden adventures. We had a glorious weekend of beautiful sunshine and warm temperatures.
I hung out on the cement while dad did his best with the lawn mower.
Once all the noise stopped I was able to inspect and encourage my plants. The Columbine is growing nicely. I will be patient and wait for them to bloom.
Our garden gate is not really a gate to anywhere. At one point there was a fence, but now it's just decorative. Did you know that this gate used to be in a different spot in our yard? We like to move stuff around. We have climbing roses that use it for support.
Our Trillium is blooming. It's very special and delicate. I make sure to purr over it to help it grow to it's potential.
Since there is so much to do this time of year, it's important to take little breaks. A little relaxing in the sunbeams and grass does wonders for you!
Dad felt it was important to give me feedback on all my hard work. He points out certain flowers or plants and tells me what a good job I'm doing. In this case he is pretty sure this flower would not bloom without my expertise.
When the days work is done, I make sure that I hang out with mom and dad while they admire the garden.
There's a niptini for me, right?

Jonesie, I know all your hard work is well rewarded!
Oh sweet Jonesie, Your Pawrents know that without you there would BE no beautiful garden! It is your sweet singing and purring that gives all those plants and flowers the will to grow and bloom. Of COURSE there will be a Niptini for you!
The Woman's best ever friend who died a year and a half ago loved trilliums. She found five in the large yard of her rental home and she adored them. She would always look for them in the woods. How lucky you are to have one.
You're doing a great job and that is a wonderful photo of you resting in the garden.
Reading your garden posts make us feel warm, fuzzy and peaceful, Jonesie!

There better be a niptini for you! If not for you, there wouldn't be a garden.

The Trillium is gorgeous we enjoyed walking around your garden.

Jonesie, your garden is looking marveolous. And we love that you celebrate all that hard work with a niptini! :)
Don't you just love springtime when the flowers start blooming!
Jonesie, I can only hope to be somewhat like you...sigh...I don't go out in the garden so I must snoopervise from behind a door...sometimes the screen is open, but it makes it tough for sure.
Oh wow, we are SO behind visiting our friends! The trillium is lovely.
