Society of Feline Gardeners- Thursday in the Garden with Jonesie

::Meowwww::

Welcome back to my garden!  I was not too pleased that Cory hijacked my Thursday post last week due to Valentines Day.  There was not much I could do about it.   I mean...it was Valentines Day.

So...back to gardening!

This is the time of year to buy seeds for our spring gardens, so if you have not already got your seeds, please remember that if you purchase your seeds from Renees Garden...you get really awesome seeds.

But that's not all!  If you use code FR227A when you check out, 25% of your order goes to support United Paws!  How awesome is that?

So go out and buy some seeds!  Tell them Jonesie sent you!

So...I know I've told you that my parents have been hopeless in keeping the weeds out of my garden.  All I can do is continue to point out the problems...paw at the weeds and purr that they do something about it before it's time to plant my spring garden.

The snow drops are doing well.  They were happy to see me.

But...I had to alert my mom to other happenings in my garden.   There has been an introoder hanging out.  He was hanging out on the deck by the shop.  We are all terribly curious about him.  When mom tried to check him out he ran...but she suspected he might be hungry so she put out a bowl of food.

Of course Figaro and Remington (who have not missed ANY meals) had to nibble...but our friend got some of it.

Mom tried to get a photo of him...but he must really hate the flashy box because he RAN!

Whew!  After so much excitement I took a nap in my basket on the deck.

It rained a bit so it was the purrfect spot to keep an eye on things.

Oh thank you for reminding us about Renee's. The Woman was just thinking she needed to get some seeds. The Male needs to put the window garden that he purchased for last year but came in September!

I hope you don't mind, Jonesie. I plan to have a little container herb garden on the patio banister this year... I will NOT be starting from seeds, however. =)

Have yourself a YAYful day in your garden, honey pie!

I wonder who the visitor is - I get the feeling that even though he ran away, he was glad for the handout!

Myself, as you know. I used to be a cat visitor !
I guess the black kitty would love your mom to play chasing with him !

Love your visitor!

Your garden is coming on well. Come over for a visit, Jonesie, before all our flowers are gone. It is late summer for us.

We want to know more about your visitor! We hope he'll stick around longer so you can get to meet him.

What a perfectly positioned basket! We hope you can discipline your humans adequately to do what needs to be done in the garden.

We find your visitor very intriguing.

Mom already deaded a tarragon plant....it started to die right after she got it. She's thinking of ordering some seeds from Renees. Thanks for the code :)

We should send mum to check out the seeds. Still snow and cold here, so not much actual gardening.

Our mum is thinking she should be planting her tomato seeds. We tell her it's no good thinking about it, she needs to get on and do it. Your visitor looks very handsome.

How nice your mommy put out food for the black cat visitor :)

Your snowdrops are lovely. We think your basket is the best for snoopervising work on your garden!

The only snowdrops we have are the snows droppin' from the sky!
But seriously Jonesie, your adventures in the garden keep us happy and hopeful, weeds or not.
