Hi there woofie and kitty pals! It's SO wonderful to be back home. In my yard. With my ball. Do you know that as a woofie I was not allowed to stay at home while my mom and dad gallavanted across the globe? Do you realize that they could have spent a perfectly good vacation at an Oregon beach...with me?
Squirrel!
Now where was I? Oh yeah...the kitties got to stay at home and I had to go to doggie day care...which by the way turned into doggie night care. I was given one of my special binkies to comfort me but other than that, I was on my own. No kitties herd.
I've been promised that there will be no further gallavanting in the near future unless it includes me.
Now where was that squirrel? We've got some catching up to do.

We just don't understand them not taking you with them. That's the whole reason for holidays, isn't it? Oh wait, you sort of got one too...a private retreat like...hmmmm. That sounds kind of good to us too!

Oh Grete! That is just awful. We would like to suggest to your humans that they try using house-sitters next time they decide to gallivant, the way we do, so that you can all stay together at home! Except of course when, as is now the case, I am personally gallivanting with #1!
