Wow my furriends! It's been forever since we've been together in the garden. This time of year is tough. It's wet. It's muddy. Stuff is a mess because mom and dad were neglectful gallavanting. I have so much to do to get things cleaned up...but...days are short and now my time in the garden is limited. Figaro and I surveyed the situation this past weekend.
There are a few carrots left to be picked. I keep meowing at mom to dig them all up before they are bigger than me. She does not listen. She thinks they will be find staying in the ground until she is ready.
This stresses me out.
Do you realize there is a chance these poor carrots may spend Christmas alone in the garden? I beg mom to get them dug up before Christmas Eve...although...what if Santa and his reindeer are hungry? What if they need a little nibble from my garden? Ok, I'll leave some.
Hope you know Santa...I've been a VERY good girl. Maybe a few new garden tools in my stocking?

We think Santa should leave you some treats and a few new toys, too!
Wow. It looks like you have a lot to take care of and get back into shape. Of course, it was a weird year weather wise. Our grass started growing this November!
If this were OUR garden - well, everything would be dead, BUT if it were our garden and somehow my human magically turned into someone would could actually keep plants alive, there would be NO carrots left because they would have all been made into fresh carrot juice by now!
You are one busy girl!! Just to let you know Charlotte has taken over the garden. So far so good....but methinks she sleeps there instead of working.
Those carrots look pretty yummy.
The thought of leaving out smth for Santa and the reindeers to nibble on is very clever. You'll get plenty of gardening tool from him!
Looking good Jonesie! Still a lot of green over there. Our cat mint is still green though and just as yummy!
Great to see you all!
Purrs,
Goldie
I think Santa will bring you something n ice, Jonesie. But you never know, there might end up being carrots in your stockings!
We're glad you got to go out in your garden, Jonesie. Maybe you should try digging those carrots up yourself!

Thanks for looking out for the reindeer, Jonesie! We need to make sure they have enough energy to get to ALL the kitties' homes. : )

We hope Sandy Claws brings you all the tools you want Jonesie.
Ya know, once the flowers go, it's hard to get the humans interested in the garden. We think Santa will be very impressed to find carrots for his reindeer :) That should get you pawsome treats ;)

oh Jonesie, your garden does look a bit poorly, but I am sure it is Mom's neglect and the weather. You have done everything any Master Gardener could do this time of the year. ANd keeping those carrots for Santa...smart, very smart ladycat you are...
Cold outside, not much going on here for many months to come.
MOL, and here I thought all the garden tools a kitty needed were at the end of their paws...

How sweet that you would think of Santa's reindeer! Purrs...from your friends at Colehauscats.com
Well, of it was horses rather than reindeer pulling Santa's sleigh, they would definitely like carrots!
