Tabby Tattletale Tuesday

We had an interesting weekend.  It was a long one, so mom and dad were at home working on stuff.   I ended up getting some awesome outdoor time.   I know that it won't be very long before the weather starts getting cold and icky, so we're enjoying every bit we can get.

Mom fusses over Jonesie's gardening skills, but I'm pretty darn good at it too.  While Madison snoozes in the bushes and Figaro exposes his belly, I actually do a bit of  work.   Today I helped mom pick the first root vegetables of the year!  Where was Jonesie?   Yeah...that's right.  Nowhere to be found.
Jonesie may have watched over these babies, but now that it's harvest time, I'm all over it.  Yeah mom...pull that one.  Yeah, the tasty looking one.

Mom pulled carrots, turnips, parsnips and rutabagas and roasted them along with our homegrown garlic and onion.

Good thing she didn't toss in a little ginger!  Ha!

And guess what?  Tomorrow is our 4th Blogoversary!  Time flies when your gossiping having fun!

Yes, Ginger -- you never get the rewards from all your hard work. Except now, the truth is out in the open so hopefully you will get your due.

We just know you are a huge help around there Ginger. That garden is a lot of work so we are glad you are helping with the root veggies. Our Mom is jealous, she would love to have all those veggies. Have a great day.

"toss in a little ginger"! MOL Next think you know, you'll be paranoid like Scouty over at the Katnip Lounge, thinking they're gonna make Ginger Stew! Hmm, Ginger and Scouty stew... interesting.. hee hee
You did a very nice job supervising that harvesting, I hope Jonesy gives you proper credit!
