My furriends, my 3 week adventure has come to an end. I am back home again. I had a really difficult time making an adjustment to a new home and new family. I was homesick. Even though EVERYTHING about the new place was awesome, it wasn't home. I may have my difficulties here...with a certain Tuxie girl who shall remain nameless ::cough:: Bennette...but this is MY home and MY family.
My new family knew I was having a hard time and as much as they tried to win me over, I resisted. And I hid. All. The. Time. There was a night when my mom and dad came to visit and I was overjoyed. I thought that meant they were moving in too! Without Bennette. But no. They went away again and I was sad.
So if I ever think of going looking for my hearts desire again, away from Bennette, I won't look further than my own backyard.
There's no place like home!

Aw, Cecilia, we're really sorry things didn't work out with the new family, know your beans are doing the very best they can for you.
Our mom's not seeing any real difference in us with the calming treats we're trying, but maybe they'd work for you and Bennette? Or how about the Zylkene? The jury's out on whether that's helping Derry--guess the only way to know will be if he has another bout of cystitis. But maybe the Zylkene is something your beans could try with you? It wasn't that expensive, cost our mom $26 (from the vet), taxes in. That's Canadian dollars, of course.
Or what about some other natural calming product? PetAlive.com has something the mom might look into; she's got a UT product on order from them right now.
We're just throwing out suggestions, trying to think of things that might be worth trying, to keep you, and everyone else, calm, without pumping your bodies full of drugs. :-/

Sweet Cecelia, it's wonderful that your mom and dad loved you so much to try to find you a home where you would be the center of attention, but it's even better that they kept in touch and welcomed you back home when it became apparent you weren't adjusting to the new place.
