Society of Feline Gardeners- Thursday in the Garden with Jonesie

::Meowwww::

It's no good my furriends.

The icky weather is here.  I have been doing VERY little gardening and TOO MUCH sitting on my deck.

My summer has officially come to an end.  I think there are still things to harvest like Swiss Chard and carrots, but I couldn't convince mom to come out in the rain to deal with it.

The garden is lush and green, but it's soggy.

Bennette and I got to spend some time in Grete's pee garden (notice the dead grass)...but we are not amused with the arrival of fall.

Hope things are better in your garden this week.

Isn't it sad when the summer comes to an end and it rains. I mean we got so used to a whole two weeks of sunshine.

It's been raining here since last Thursday. I haven't been able to do anything at all except the occasional survey. The ground is still soggy, though not flooded. Maybe next week....

Well, the only interesting thing in our garden this week was the fungi! Which mom took a pic of and then removed.

Spring seems a long way off now....

Summer has decided to get a second wind here, it's been warm and sunny the last few days, but too late to do anything. Most our flowers are gone now and mom has put out some pots of mums.

All our plants have just about died. Too cold and not enough rain. We wish we had a good garden too. But it is really hard to dig here. Red clay soil. Thanks for visiting our blog.

Oh, it is very nice here. Come visit with us and bring Grete. She can play ball with Fenris while we cats enjoy the garden.

It's funky here too. Rain the past three days and temps in the 40's this morning. Brrrrr!

We have been having Indian Summer here! Not much in our garden either - just our potted plants.

LOVE the pee garden. Whisky's pee garden is also the tortoises food paradise. Yuck.

After some great late summer weather, we are getting into fall with a bang over here: wind, rain, cooler temps and falling leaves everywhere. Double yuks!

Hi Cory, thanks for visiting us. It was so thoughtful of you and we enjoyed meeting you. There are so many beautiful cats at your house, we'll have to visit again. That's some pee garden. Maybe we should use some of that to kill dandelions.

I'm sorry Jonesie. You could come over here for the summer but we don't have much of a garden.

It's much the same here. We did have 4 hot sunny days last week which started the last of the tomatoes ripening, but we are back to the cold wind and rain again.

Oh dear we're so sorry for you, poor darling! We wish you nice sunny autumn days.

Your garden is still beautiful. It's nice that Grete uses her pee garden so the rest of the garden can be so pretty.
