Tabby Tattletale Tuesday

You wouldn't believe what happened at my house this past week.  I mean...it's a regular mystery!  A who-dunnit that needed solving.  It was a case for ::key music:: Ginger Bear!  I know I could have called Simba aka  Agent 007, but I wanted to solve this one myself.  I mean...I really don't want to share the glory.  Let's be real.

It all started when  Cory noticed there was something missing from the toy basket.

She alerted her momma Ellie.  Cory suspected it was one of Ellie's prize snakie toys.   Ellie adores snakes and mom will buy her snake toys whenever she sees one...::rolls eyes:: Ellie has more snake toys than...than...uh..a snake charmer.  She is SO indulged.

Ellie gave mom..."the look".  Then they all went to investigate.  Now kittens...you may want to look away because the following photos are quite graphic and show an alleged snakie toy ::shudder:: murder!

I know...shocking isn't it.  For investigative purposes, a closer look was needed.

Yup, stuffing everywhere.  The snakie didn't stand a chance.  But who could have done this?  Who could be responsible for breaking Ellie's heart?

I think the ears give it away.

Guilty!

Oh oh, Grete looks like a likely suspect. Maybe mummy can sew up the snake?

Grete does look a bit guilty... but has she really admitted it?

Oh Grete! Did anycat really see you doing it?

We kinda suspected Grete when we saw the first photo of the snake carcass. Still, looks like it may have been a crime of passion. Grete was passionate about croaking that snake!

I can't believe Grete would do something like that. Are you sure rogue squirrels didn't break into the house?

The horrors! More new snakes immediately!

Uh oh!! Looks like Grete may have gotten a little too exhuberant!! Snakes will do that to you, y'know.

Aww Grete. We know you didn't mean to - you just got carried away. Ellie will forgive you.

Poor Ellie! We think Grete probably got carried away and didn't mean to commit murder. We say not guilty by reason of heat of the moment!

OMC, the horror!

But we're not convinced Grete did, someone could be framing her!

Well the ears are a bit of a givaway BUT we shouldn't jump to conclusions! ('Cos we love Grete!)
Has Grete gotted an alibi? Is there any evidence from witnesses? Were there paw-prints at the crime scene?

A heinous crime...Grete how could you?!

Uh oh, Grete's in trouble! Maybe she was just trying to protect you from the deadly snake.

Good detective work, Ginger! A good detective needs intuition as well as smarts -- and your intuition was right! Grete has to learn to be a little more gentle with her "Grete-ings"!
