Tabby Tattletale Tuesday

We got 8 little goblins showing up at our house on Sunday night.  Mom thought they were cute.  I really don't understand what she's talking about.  I mean, the doorbell rang, we had to get up from our naps.  Grete barked.  What's so cute about that?   And then...the worst of it is...they were asking US for treats!

Not one of those little brats children had anything for me!  No nip.  No stinky goodness.  No cat dancers.  All take.  And dad even let one little cowboy take 2 candy bars!!!
What a horrible holiday.  Then I read with horror as my friends in the blogosphere got dressed up in costumes or photoshopped beyond recognition.
I'm ready for Thanksgiving.  Bring on the turkey!
As for Corywhippersnapper...she was happy with one of dad's socks.

Ginger has no idea what she's missing!!!

Man--I think they should have brought something for us for all the inconvenience. We had four of them!

We couldn't agree more! Bring on the turkey!

We did not get any little goblins. Aaah. Another reason to love the Swamp!

Cory, Whitey was busy last night... 10 mousies in the hallway this morning! And he says he sends you lots of freckle-y smoochies!

I agree, Ginger! Halloween is a stupid holiday! Thanksgiving is MUCH better!

We are lucky, we don't get goblins at our door for Halloween! We're in an apartment building so they all go to the lobby for treats!

Ginger, I have to agree with Cory about the socks...it's fabulous!!

Yeah, all those little ghosts and goblins did was make a lot of noise and took the candy. So unfair, Ginger! At least it's over now!

We agree too, and can't see why so many humans make a fuss over Halloween.

We'll take turkey...Hmm, we've already had our (Canadian) Thanksgiving though. We'll have to pop on over for YOURS. MOL!

No treats for you? That is just not right!

There should be a rule, come with catnip or don't come at all!

Yes it is a tough holiday for kitties! My boys don't like the doorbell either so we sit on the porch in the freezing cold and hand out candies there so the cats aren't disturbed! Any question at all who is in charge at out house?

Ginger, maybe you should hang out with us next Halloween. No little treat stealers and not dressing up in this house.

You really make a good point, Ginger, complaining that none of the trick or treaters brought a treat for any of you. What woul Santypaws think about that type of behavior?

I agree with Ginger -- Hallowe'en sucks! You only eight kids! We didn't have many either because it snowed unexpectedly.

What's with you and the sock puppets, Cory? Sounds kind of kinky to me.

We enjoyed Halloween. We got to snuggle up with Momma on the couch while she watched scary movies. And we didn't have any trick or treaters to interrupt us.

I don't understand what all the fuss was about either. Usually I'm the first one at the door when the bell rings. Wel, I took one look at those stange two-legged anipals and decided "I'm otta here." When is it going to be "cats" so we get handed treats?

All of us except The Baby HATE the Evil Doorbell. Ginger, we're with you 100%!

And Johhny says he's considering a sock...as a change from Crocs...he's trying to cut back on feetsies!

Quite right! We forgot about Halloween but we're bound to remember US Thanksgiving as it involves turkey :-)

Greetings Cory,

We were lucky this year, no one came up the street because it is some hike and little kids are not into it, so we could continue sleeping since it would only be another few hours before it is time for night duty.

Wishing you all the best,
Ms Kitty and Egmont

PS: We hope that mum gave you some treats before the night was over.
