We don't sleep together yet. We believe in taking things slowly...very slowly. At this rate, we'll sleep with the tips of our tails touching in about 2 years.
We are a bit sad because this couch which we have known all the time we have been here is going away. Not only that, but it will be a couple of weeks before the new one arrives. Where are we going to sit??? Mom doesn't expect us to sleep in a...::gasp::...cat bed??
Mom and dad think this perfectly good couch is a mess because Grete woofie managed to dig holes in one of the cushions. Grete was just improving it and making it more comfy. If we sit on the couch our furs cover the visible holes. All the more reason we should sit on the couch.

Beans are so funny about wanting everything to have that "new" look. They don't understand that saggy parts and smells and holes are part of making things like couches all the better.
That's not fare !
With out a couch, you guys should punished them. Sit on human's lap as a couch. Do not go back to cat's couch .. Teach them a lesson !

The sofa looks great and I am sorry you are losing it. Don't be so down on cat beds. Mine is right in front of the heat vent and I love it.
Praps they could have the noo couch for themselves ~ and yoo two could have the old one for yoorselves?
Feh, humans! They do not understand when we creatures make improvements to their furniture. Yours are clearly throwing away a perfectly decent couch - in fact, it is MORE perfect now! What are they thinking?
It seems to be a universal truth that Humans have little appreciation for the finer things in life, such as a properly used couch. Sigh.....

Milo and Alfie have made the suggestion I was going to make. Two couches would be ideal!
The 'rents did that to us last year. It was awful. but we have the new sofa all broke in now.

At our house Ben spends a lot of time carefully pulling threads out of the sofa and does not understand when I come by with the scissors and cut them all off!
Well, at least you two are making some progress and sleeping on the same couch! We're sorry you're losing that great couch...and after you got it just the way you want it too....so unfair....

Purrsonally we think that couch should stay, just be moved to a different place. that way all of you have your sleeping spots and Grete will have the couch she ahs worked so hard to improve.
Well, I think this is progress anyway. You two are sitting quite close to each other.
I must give you my condolences on the loss of your couch. I'm sure it is steeped in memories and the scents of many happy days lounging upon it.
Just think about when the new one comes and you have help to break it in -- although, hopefully Grete will restrain herself this time.
Gasp! They are getting rid of your couch! I think you will have to push your mum and dad out of their bed and make it yours!
