Meow! Welcome back to my garden. I've been without a lot of help this past week. My furriend and garden companion, the cat formerly known as Freeta Bandeeta, has been inside my house locked in a room. I knew all along he was a boy. A girl cat knows these things. I thought it was funny...I was LMAO for months! Silly humans.
We're calling him Figaro. We're still not sure he's staying for good, but I'm purring for that to happen.
Anyway, good help is hard to find. Until he recovers from his illness and he can come out in the garden again I'm on my own in helping my dad.
Dad has been working on the garden patio for 2 years now. It's a lot of work, but he's hoping to finish it this summer. The gravel is in and the bamboo have been put in pots by the fence. Dad sunk the pots in the ground and put pretty pebbles all around. A garden cat has to be good at snoopervising the hardscape as well as plantings.
We have booberries planted by one of our fences. Mom says they are blueberries, but they aren't blue yet so I'm not so sure she's right. We'll see.
The cottonwood tree is blowing it's cotton all over our yard. You can see me and Grete hanging out in it. It looks like snow, but it's not cold.
Although Figaro is not out in the yard with me, he's still helping me...he's inside helping mom with my post! I knew he wouldn't let me down!
Don't forget to leave a link so all garden cats can gather together!

We bet you are laughing really hard about the humans and Freeta/Figaro! Hope he gets to stick around and help you out (assuming it's OK with everyone else, that is.)
Your patio is going to be beautiful - it looks like a good sleeping spot. And the blueberries look like they will be delicious!
Purrs from Franklin
I think a garden is never done. I bet the patio will be great when it's done. I wish my humans would do more to make the garden lovely around here...
Jonsie, Don't overwork yourself...can't you round up some of the other Cats...or are they hopeless at gardening?
48 paws crossed that Figaro stays!
Hi Grete!
Thanks fur agreeing to be in this post!
It is always nice to see woo!
My mom says her dad grew up with a khat named Figaro!
Hugz&Khysses,

Great gardening post, as always Jonesie and it was good to see Grete hanging out with you!...That patio is going to be awesome when it's finished!...Glad to see Figaro, we hope he gets to stay with you guys too=he is an adorable boy!...kisses sweet friends...xo...Calle, Halle, Sukki
Jonesie you always look so proud in your garden!
Hi Jonesie,
We (Milo, me and our mom) fink Figaro is gonna be a real help abowt the place. So if yoo need a petition signed to encourage yoor beans to let him stay, then just nod us a wink and we'll be there to support him. He's cute and our mom said very kissable too!
I love yoor boo berries ~ they look wonderfully neat and well planted. And yoo're right, landscping is just as impawtant as plants. Tell yoor dad he is VERY talented at laying gravel and stuff (it's best to encourage beans lots 'cos they are easily discouraged).
Love Alfie Marshall xx
Your garden is looking so nice. Must be the snoopervising. Love the sound of those booberries too :-)
Hi Jonesie. Wow, you and your dad have been doing a lot of work this week! We like the bamboo all along the fence! And our human says blueberries are yummy; she hopes you'll have enough for pies and jam and maybe freezing for the winter too.
It's all going to look fantastic when finished.
Kitty kisses to everyone, including Figaro! We hope he's going to stay with you too. :-)
Figaro - lovely name - we hope he gets to stay with you, good friends are hard to find and with all that garden snoopervising to be done, its helpful to have a 2nd set of paws, eyes and noses. Love Darcy and Bingley xx
We hope Figaro gets to stay with you too, Jonesie! He seems like such a great help and we know you like him
Your patio will be nice to sun yourself on when it's finished. And we love the bamboo! Momma wants to plant some but she's afraid it will take over the world. Are pots the answer??
Oh and we also vote for Figaro to stay. He's already got the experience, and good help IS hard to find.
Figaro is gonna be such a big help to you in the yard, Jonesie! And there is so much to do!! We've got that cottonwood around here and it does look like it's snowing!! Good thing it's not cold though!
MOL, we really don't know why humans have so much trouble tell us boy and girl cats apart. We hopes Figaro gets to live with you. Purrs he is well soon and able to help you in the garden.
Yep those are blueberries. Ours are already ripe. We gets to listen to the beans complain about having to pick them every day. The patio looks great.
Your garden is looking good! Our Dad has been working in our garden (it's about time!) and Mom might even do some planting. Poor plants.....
Sniffie and the Florida Furkids
It sounds like your patio will be excellent. We hope Figaro gets to stay and help you in the garden :)
Hi Jonesie. We think that you and Figaro will make one hell of a team in the garden!
That was a fun garden post!!! I really did like that last picture though...too cute!
You sure has your work cut out for you Jonesie, with all the projects needing snoopervising with only you to do it.
We is very happy that Figaro has a safeNwarm while him gets better. You and your fambily are great.
Happy gardening Jonesie!
oh Jonesie, you are so pretteh in your garden. sorreh you are wifout halps, but i am sure your buddy will be ready to come back out there soon.
I like those booberries. Oh, Cory, I am so excited to learn about the Thursday Garden Club. I will have to have my Mommeh tell about her bumper crop of weeds. I snoopervise from the window inside. It's a good thing I have a very loud voice.
Your garden and patio are lovely Jonesie. We can see it is a lot of work for you so we hope Figaro stays to help you out.
Thanks for the tour. Hope your Dad gets his project done this year. And, your new kitty friend looks cute
Wow, you've gots lots and lots to snoopervise there, Jonesie! That patio will be wonderful once it's finished. It looks very large, so no wonder it's taking a long time.
Take your Mom's word for it, those berries will indeed be blue!
And I like the name Figaro. We have a Figaro in our neighbourhood, too, who comes to visit. I hope he can stay with you, but I guess it will depend how well he gets along with efurryone.
That is funny about Figaro! We hope he gets to stay too!
Your yard/gardening area is going to look so wonderful when all the work is done!
Booberries.....do they say BOO when they are ripe?
We have alot of that cottonwood stuff too. Meowm counted the other day and at the back of the complex we live in there are 13 of those trees!!!!! And there are more around the rest of the property! EEEKKK!!! So you can imagine how snowy it looks around our place.
Good to see Grete. I hope things work out and that Figaro can stay.. Garden is looking fabulous.. Hugs GJ xx
Your humans are very industrious! Unlike mine, who has a huge, undeveloped backyard and no ability to do a thing with it! I hope Figaro/Freeta will be back to assist you again soon!
Your mom and dad are hard working folks, unlike my SS who only types on the computer and lets the garden go to pots. Please note that she is not even helping me out with Thursday in the Garden. Good help is hard to find.
Figaro looks like he has some real blogging chops!
Booberries? Cool!! It is so good of you to help and to have to do it all by yourself...you are really a great garden snoopevisor because that is TOUGH work!!! Neither of us could hold up under that pressure! Your garden looks great...we like that warm snow you have. Purrs, Lautrec and Tiny
