Twenty years ago today, Roger Ramjet left for The Bridge. Mom wrote about him in November of 2008 when I first started my bloggie. Click here to read his story. Even after 20 years, mom and dad still miss him more than words can say.
Roger Ramjet
President of the local cat union.
Friend to all cats, possums and raccoons.
Do anything for a lick of milk.
Always shared his mousie kill.
Proud of his collar and name tag
Insisted on riding on mom and dad's left shoulder (never the right)
Precious spot on his nose.
Protector of the family.
Adored fall leaves.
Loved forever.

I went back and read Roger's story - he sounds like he was quite an impressive mancat! My human had a special cat who died some months before I came to live here. I posted something about her last week.
Oh my! Not to let it out that Momma's millions of years old.....but she used to watch the Roger Ramjet cartoon! Gheez...now she's singing the song to us.

Roger Ramjet was very handsome. It is a good thing to remember the ones who went before.
You asked if we had trouble with slugs. Mum used to have ducks who ate all the slugs, but now she hasn't got any, she gives the slugs a bedtime drink of Guinness.
