The Trouble with Tuxies
MOVE! I want mom's lap. Give it back to me it's MINE!
Pretty please Figaro? You've already hogged her lap for....forever! It's MY turn.
Sigh....
Grete, can I come and snuggle with you?

Mitten Monday
Since mom and dad were gone last week...left us...abandoned...alone...
I did my best to stay mad at them. I tried my best "hissed off" look. Unfortunately, I can only hold this look for a nano second. I just love my mom so much I can't stay mad.
I mean, she had someone come by and feed me all the Fancy Feast I wanted. But you know what? I'd give up Fancy Feast to have my mom here 24/7.
I'm so glad they are home. Mom tastes good!
Purrrrrr.....

Society of Feline Gardeners- Thursday in the Garden with Jonesie
::Meowwww::
Welcome back to my garden!
This time of year, I spent a lot of time reflecting on things. I think how much I love my garden and my family.
I think about how lucky I am to be here. I'm lucky to have such amazing garden pals in the Cat Blogsphere.
I appreciate every minute of every day.
I am but a small cat in a large garden.
I know my influence can be seen and my love is present in everything here.

Tuxie Tuesday
Hey there. I want you to know that we have been the victims of a great and terrible offense. We were abandoned with no notice...and not enough time to get out a plea for help from our furriends.
No time to plan a house trashing. No time to invite over all the beautiful girl kitties in the blogosphere. Forced to comply with the false pretense that our parents have been home this past week.
Forced to play games with a human who is not my mom...fed plates of Fancy Feast...not knowing if it would be smooshed just the way mom does it...locked inside with no chance of playing with the fall leaves.
I suppose the suitcases should have been my first clue...but I thought that with a face like this...who would ever leave me?

Mitten Monday
Now that it's fall and the weather is getting cooler and wetter...I sure love snuggling in my white fluffy blankie. Not that I ever go outside...but I can tell it's getting colder and wetter outside.
Jonesie tells me so.
That means mom and dad will be wearing their fleece socks...thick socks....ooohhhh...how I love the fall. Do you know that in the summer they hardly ever wear socks?
That's why I love fall.

Welcome back to my garden! Fall is here and the rain is getting everything nice and damp. On Sunday it looked like it was raining fall leaves since it was a little windy. Everything smells earthy. I love it.
I don't mind when my fur gets a bit wet. Mom fusses over me and tries to brush me out so I won't get matted. It's not my favorite thing to do.
I'd rather spend my time doing important things like watching over my garden. Some of the apples have fallen to the ground. I know there are critters in the garden that will appreciate them, even if my mom and dad were too lazy busy to get to all of them.
We have lots of spiders in our garden right now. I kind of like them. The are safer in the garden where I let them set up shop and catch insects. If they go in the house...they might get eaten. Nigel will deny it of course.
Off to check on my carrots. It will be time to dig them all up!

Mitten Monday
I got a package in the mail! Ohhh...what could it be? It's too flat to be cheese.
Wowie! Orange socks from Whitey's momma! She knows how much I love socks.
Whap...whap....whappp!
Thank you so much! I've already started composing a new sock song in their honor. I'll debut it at 3am. Mom loves that.

Society of Feline Gardeners- Thursday in the Garden with Jonesie
::Meowwww::
Welcome to my fall garden. We have been so lucky to get dry and sunny weather for weeks and weeks...but all good things must come to an end. Rain is heading our way for the coming weekend. You know what that means for a hard working garden cat...hurry up and get more things done!
I did take some time to appreciate what I have and purr over my garden. My lovely Cabernet grapes that grow by my gazebo did great. There is still not enough to make any wine, but they are tasty to eat. At least mom and dad say so. So it must be true.
The dahlias are starting to fall over.
There are still a few raspberries for mom to pop in her mouth.
Figaro admired the sedum and the Japanese Anemone before he lent a paw to my dad to finish up the gazebo project he's been working on for a year!
You can see how hard Figaro is working. I am quite proud of him.
Here you can see the project coming to a close. Dad put a new beautiful roof on the gazebo so I won't get wet when it rains. He's finishing up staining and protecting it...so by the time it rains, it will be all done.
And that makes me purrr.
