Tabby Tattletale Tuesday

There's just been too much going on around here for my liking.  Mom and dad have been way to busy with work and other humans they call family.  I thought I was all the family they needed?  So if all that wasn't enough, they are looking to take even more time away from me.   They are looking at re-doing the bathroom.  It looked fine to me.  But now the toilet is out of there and I've lost my easy way up to the sink.  Jumping from the floor to the counter is just way too much of a bother.  I want my porcelain step ladder back.
So to add insult to injury...my mom asked me to check out her samples.  Does she think I'm the next big thing in interior design? The "Jonesie" of the interior?  Do you think she could have been considerate and brought me tiles and paint chips in nice rust/brown/caramel...dare I say it ginger tones?

No!  These colors do not go with my fur...do not match my eyes.  I'm calling the ASPCA.  Who in their right mind would like these colors?

Aren't these samples purrfect?

  6. Sorry, Ginger, but those samples really do go purrfectly with Ellie's eyes. Gorgeous colours--the tile and your eyes. And of course you are gorgeous too, Ginger!

  7. Terribly difficult to find something that would look perfect with everybody...

  8. Oh, Ginger, the colors are so perfect for Ellie, I am afraid you will lose out. But maybe there is another bathroom in the house that they can choose more ginger tones for. Anyway, once it is finished, you will have your way up to the sink, and the sink back, and I don't think you will mind too much.

  11. What is it with our humans? Can't they just leave well enough alone? Why must they redecorate?

Mom says she LOVES the blue tiles!

  16. Ginger dear, we agree that even though the blue tiles may not match your furs, they will contrast with them nicely. You'll be a nice focal point!

  17. Redoing, redecorating... it's all bad news! Our Humans have been doing that around here for the past half year :-( No fun at all!

That being said, we think the tiles look beautiful.

  18. Ginger, we actually think those colors look great with you AND Ellie...but maybe it's just because you're both so cute, you make anything look good.

  20. If Ellie gets the bathroom I saw you should ask for the kitchen Ginger. Oranges and rusty colors I think would be lovely and warm in a kitchen

  21. We vote with Ginger for the rust/brown/carmel tones.

  24. There are cool tones for cool cats and warm tones for warm cats. We're lucky to have both of you and more!

  25. Seems like Ginger's nose is as out of joint as your toilet! LOL!

I guess you can't blame her when you ask what she thinks and then ignore her preferences for earth tones.

Yes, Ellie will look stunning in the renovated bathroom! You'll have to take her portrait there when it's finished.

  26. Those tiles are a pretty colour and will show you off beautifully Ellie. Maybe you will get your choice of colour in another room Ginger.

  27. I also thought the blue clashed with your beautiful fur color. You should stick to the earth tones for sure.

I am sorry for being so late in thanking you for stopping by for my birthday. We have been having so many blogger problems that it has slowed down my visits as the mom was ready to kill the computer, just because that was the only thing she could think of doing. I wouldn't let her. Finally the blogger monster seems to be gone for now, probably picking on another innocent one. Hope you had a fun time at my first birthday party. It was great seeing you there.
