The Best Present of All

It was a sad weekend.  Mom and dad took down our tree and put away all the decorations and ornaments.   I pouted.

We did get lots of gifts...we needed to add to our stash of toys.   Not all the squeakers work in Grete woofies' playthings so of course she needed new ones.   Nip gets stale too so we now have fresh Yeoww toys to whap and bunnykick.

As you can see, there is one present I refuse to give up.  When I'm not guarding it, the others take turns...it's a purrfect fit.

Some of you may be wondering if I'm getting out in my garden.  Not so much right now.  It's been cold and wet.  My garden looks more like a mud farm than my beloved magical oasis.

Soon though...soon enough it will be spring.

  6. That's right, Jonesie, don't let those misguided humans of yours take away your prized possession there! It was a gift, and you should keep it!
