Tabby Tattletale Tuesday

We had an interesting weekend.  It was a long one, so mom and dad were at home working on stuff.   I ended up getting some awesome outdoor time.   I know that it won't be very long before the weather starts getting cold and icky, so we're enjoying every bit we can get.

Mom fusses over Jonesie's gardening skills, but I'm pretty darn good at it too.  While Madison snoozes in the bushes and Figaro exposes his belly, I actually do a bit of  work.   Today I helped mom pick the first root vegetables of the year!  Where was Jonesie?   Yeah...that's right.  Nowhere to be found.
Jonesie may have watched over these babies, but now that it's harvest time, I'm all over it.  Yeah mom...pull that one.  Yeah, the tasty looking one.

Mom pulled carrots, turnips, parsnips and rutabagas and roasted them along with our homegrown garlic and onion.

Good thing she didn't toss in a little ginger!  Ha!

And guess what?  Tomorrow is our 4th Blogoversary!  Time flies when your gossiping having fun!
