Society of Feline Gardeners- Thursday in the Garden with Jonesie For Real

::Meowwww::

Oh yeah!  Wow it feels great to be out in my garden again!!!  Wow!

But now...to survey the damage caused by trusting my garden to my mom and dad...with only window snoopervision to guide them.  Was it enough?

If you look close, you can see my furs and whiskers missing from my pretty face.  I'm getting over it since everyone tells me I'm beautiful.  All the time.

Sigh.  The grass needs mowing.  Dad's excuse is that it's too soggy to mow.  Really?  This is Oregon!  The grass WILL constantly be soggy.  Mow it anyway!  Ok, I'll admit when it's long, it's easier to take a nibble.  And it does taste FANTASTIC!

Even though this vegetable bed is full of weeds, there are still nip plants growing.  Yes garden pals, never allow your humans to plant purely vegetables.  Nip plants can easily co-exist with any vegetable.  Trust me.  Insist on it.
 Excuse me a moment while I take a nibble.
Forgive me for my distraction...it's been WAY too long since I've been able to nibble fresh baby nip right off the plant.
::purrrrrrrrrrrr::

 Most importantly...the daffodils are daffing once again.  A sure sign of spring.  Happy gardening everyone!

    You look so happy out in your garden! I might have to try my hand at growing nip since I've been informed that we will have a garden this year after not having one for at least 5 years.

  7. Glad you got to go out in your garden. Our grass is high too as the Dad has been away and now it is too soggy here to mow. It really is the lawn mower would get stuck.

    Our Mommy planted cat nip in the herb bed. Too bad she stuck it next to the curry, as it makes us sneeze.

  11. Oh yes! Out in the garden again! Way to go! Maw planted a nip plant in her garden just for us this spring. But it is so warm here in Texasssss that she is watering everyday to keep the plants alive. Normally, in March, one doesn't have to do that. And she already lost 4 cucumber plants...

    Well, at least we have the nip.

  13. Mommie has started playing in the garden this week. Sassy says she already knows what will happen as it happens ever year. She plants, wonders why the plants don't grow, watch them die, vow never to plant again, start again next year!
