That actually looks pretty cozy to me! Our pilot lights only turn on when you actually turn on the burners, so you are welcome to come over and lie on our stovetop, Bennette! You won't catch fire and I am sure my human won't mind.
We don't DARE got up there at our place. The coiled things can look cold but feel hot! Besides, too close to the TBT's food preperation spot and we REALLY are not allowed THERE!
Bennette, we love to sleep on the warm stove too...but ours is one of those flat top ones and those burner thingeys don't get in the way. But our mom makes us move too. Where's our heated bed???
We believe that it is every cat's right to have their own heated blankie. Here at my house, Sassy has her heated blankie and I have mine (and oh how the fur flies if I "accidently" sit on hers.
