My human's boyfriend has worked at a vet clinic for over a decade. In fact, one of my first memories of him is him sticking me with a needle before I got packed up to come home (it was my final vaccinations - he did them himself). I've never really warmed up to him that much - I guess he is okay, but he usually smells like dog - so I cannot say if having someone in the veterinary profession in the family is such a good thing.
A vet in the fambly? Teri's a vet tech and she's always poking and prodding us...but on the flip side, she takes very good care of us. Concats to your cousin!
Of course you can still like her. Maybe you won't have to go in that PTU so often and you'll get home service!
ReplyDeleteMan... that is a tough one. Can you still like a vet in the family?
ReplyDeleteThis could be a good thing, but maybe you should pee in her shoes now, just to make sure she knows who's in charge.
ReplyDeleteEllie, You might love her more !!!
ReplyDeleteBecause she will look after all of you, keep you guys healthy. You may not need to see her at VET at all !!!!
and I have to say " Congratulation for your human cousin " she done well to get to study VET " That's a good thing for your family : )
xoxo
OMC! Does yoor cousin visit often? Just askin'!

ReplyDeleteConCatulations to your human cousin. We think it will be nice to have your own, personal and loving V-E-T.

Well, that's pretty cool that you'll have a family member as a vet! As long as she doesn't want to practice on you guys!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your human cousin, Ellie! We think that means that you will be able to trust her more than any other vet!
ReplyDeleteOMC, that could be scary! But very advantageous for your humans. MOL!

Uh oh. You might become test subjects!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Sweet Praline, it might just work out that you can sell your PTU!!!
ReplyDeleteHow fantastic!!! She will be a wonderful vet, I just know it :-)
ReplyDeleteWoohoo - great news. What a great resource to have - possibly in-home visits. Love the idea.
ReplyDeleteOh dear Ellie that is good news!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful you look!!!
