Jonesie's Gotcha Birthday Party!

It's my 9th Gotcha Birthday today!!!   I was rescued from my very own garden back in 2002.  I was about 2 years old when I was saved, so that makes me about 11 years old.  I think I'm the luckiest cat in the world.  I've got a great family, a great home, an amazing garden to call my own and the best furriends in the whole world. 

 My pal Alfie Marshall made the journey all the way from England.  I tried to tell him that the garden party would be washed out.  We've had days and days of rain and by the time it's done we'll have about 10 days straight of rain.  But Alfie said that was ok, we'd use an umbrella to keep us dry.

Can we go inside now?

No GotchaBirthday celebration would be complete without reflecting how it was when I first arrived here.    You can read the story if you didn't already know it.  It doesn't make me sad anymore, just makes the celebration much more meaningful.

Niptinis and cheese platters are inside the house, so let's get dry and go eat!
