Tabby Tattletale Tuesday

Well, I'm a bit hissed off because MY couch that mom and dad ordered years weeks ago still has not arrived.  They promised us 3 weeks and now it's 5 weeks...and Christmas is coming...and I don't know what I'm going to do if I have to sit on a ::gasp:: chair!

I consoled myself with a toy that still faintly smells of a certain silver tabby mancat.  Mom is tricky and hides our toys so all of them aren't out all the time.  Some of my brothers and sisters are fooled into thinking they are new toys.  I'm not that easily suckered.

Our stockings have been hung by the fire.  It's getting a bit crowded.  As long as there is room for my stocking I'm good with it.  There are advantages to having so many stockings since I've heard that Santa is unlikely to miss a house with so many of them to be filled.

Our Bridge Angels have a special place for their stockings.  Santa doesn't fill them with toys because the stockings are already filled with memories.

  3. I love the Bridge Stockings. Now the Woman wishes she had gotten each of her cats their own stocking instead of just having one we have all always shared...

  6. The couch will come, Ginger, don't fret. Use the bed instead for the time being.

Like the idea of stocking for each, especially for the Bridge
    Angels.

  12. We love the idea of a place for the Bridge Angel stockings. Mom had a really hard time when she saw Sniffie's stocking this year. She hung her stocking along with ours.

But we can't believe your couch hasn't yet been delivered! That's crummy customer service, we think!

  17. Tell Cory I like to sing at about 4 AM better. Unless Ichiro or Chey sings then, then I wait until 5 or 5:30 (whenever everyone is back to sleep)

    Ginger, you are so poetic!

Sorry 'bout your couch, though. Maybe there will be a Christmas miracle and it will arrive before the big day.

  20. It is adorable seeing all those little stockings hanging over the fireplace, waiting for Santa. And seeing the Bridge Angels' stocking made us feel warm inside in our hearts ~ 'cos we should never forget those who have gone before.
