Thursday In The Garden With Jonesie

Meow!  Today there is no need  to put out the sprinklers because our garden is being watered with tears.
We had to say goodbye to 4 special furriends in the Cat Blogosphere, Wintergreen, Fat Eric, Luxor and Molly.
It's hard to know what to say, so we thought we'd just reflect and remind ourselves to appreciate what we have.
Take time to really drink in the lovely smell of fresh nip.

Appreciate and purr at every sunrise.

Enjoy the view out the window.
Be happy with the indoor life.
Purr at the lovely summer flowers.

And spend quality time with family and furriends.

  4. That is so very true. We really do have so much to be thankful for and sometimes we do lose sight of that.

  5. Meow. Thank yoo for such an uplifting post, reminding us of the good things in life.

It has been a devastating week for efurrybuddy in the CB losing so many loved and very special cats. But this post helps us celebrate life while we have it, and we know our dear Rainbow Bridge friends would want us to do that.

    Purrs.

    Love Alfie Marshall
(on behalf of our whole family) xx

  6. When so many bad things happen at the same time, it is important to reflect, and treasure the simple things in life. Thanks for the reminder.

  22. Gardens are the purrfect metaphor ...

you see the youthful growth of green,
then you see it ripen to it's full potential, and as time passes you see it fall back to the ground from where it drew life.

    Beautiful post....
