Tabby Tattletale Tuesday

I'm a bit hissed off.  I was minding my own business in the garden on Saturday when I noticed a bit of confusion.  There was talk of taking some of us to the v-e-t.  Not that I had to go, I'm purrfectly fine thank you very much.  I knew that Cecilia had to go in.  I was sure of it.  Well Madison really had to go in to get a check up on his teeth, or what's left of his teeth.  Ellie had to go in because she was due for her annual check up and a vaccine.
But then Cecilia did this...she plays hard to get better than anyone I know and then the next thing you know I was being stuffed in a PTU.  Me!!!  Mom said it's because we are still getting microchips for everyone and that I still didn't have mine...so I had to go off to the dreaded v-e-t even though there is nothing wrong with me.  Now I have some sort of GPS device imbedded in my flesh.  Mom says this is a good thing, but I'm not sure.  Does this mean that Santa can track me and tell if I'm naughty or nice?  I mean Christmas isn't all that far away...this could spell trouble.  I'm sure of it.

You wouldn't believe the hollering that was going on in the car.  Madison, Ellie...and well uh...yeah I did contribute to the kitty chorus.  If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!  Cory was a bit upset that her momma was carried off, but there was a happy reunion when we all returned.

  1. I can just imagine the hollering with so many of you in the car at once. SS has a earful just with me there and the vet was less than 15 mins away.

  4. Does your microchip feel funny? Do you think it can record your thoughts? Mom says I need one, but I am not so sure about that.

  6. We have microchips as well and we don't like the sound of them either. We're sure mum uses them to track our every movement.

  7. Well, that was not nice! I would like to see what humans would have to say if someone took a big, fat needle and shoved a microchip between THEIR shoulders.

  8. Poor girl! How mean of them! But hey, a chip? Now that's a great thing to have.

  13. We can't imagine what it musta been like having all of you going to the vet at the same time!! Mom takes me and Wally together and she can barely handle the 2 of us!! But then again we don't make it easy for her!!

Aren't you glad that's over?? We bet your mom is...

  14. We boys have microchips, but they were done when we lost our man-bits, so we didn't even realize it at the time. It's a good idea, even if it did leave you feeling a bit hissed, Ginger.

Our human is cringing at the ruckus you all must have made on the way. We howl piteously when we're in the PTU and our human is always so apologetic with the taxi drivers. :-P

  15. Look at the positive side. Now, if you get lost, someone can help you find your family again!

  17. Oh no! We can't imagine the sounds in your car!!! At least you know that your Mom will be able to find you if you get lost.

  18. We don't blame you for hollering, Ginger! What an awful surprise...we sure hope Santa doesn't have access to your signal!

  19. Well, you should be feeling a lot more 'chippurr', now that you're back home, Ginger! I know it was a pain, but it's for your own protection. That just shows you how much your mommy and daddy love you because they had to pay the V-E-T a lot for that for all you kitties.

  20. Ginger, that was really rotten of them to do that to you! Do you suppose they did it because they really care about you?

  21. It is so important to have the microchip. Thank you for reminding me Ginger that my Casper still needs to get his, what a bad mum I am that is has been so long and he doesn't have one yet!

  22. We can imagine the chorus!!!!

It's good to be microchipped. It means you will never ever be lost!

  25. Ginger we all has microchips they aren't so bad. We thinks they help Santa know where to leave your presents.

  27. That wasn't fair that you had to go because Cecilia was hiding, but at least you know you won't get lost.

  28. Oh no not the VET!
Well it was only for that little micro chip and yes Ginger we are afraid that Santa can track you with that thing, so you have to be extra good, but that's no problem for you! YOu are such a good girl.

  29. Poor Ginger! Talk about rotten luck. And what's with the GPS thing...are you still gonna be able to tattle? Or does it have a microphone, too. This could be bad...

pee ess: Johnny sounds like a fire engine the entire 1000 miles to the vet. And back.

  30. I can imagine all of the noise in that car. I give my mom an earful with just me!

  31. Oh what a horrible ordeal that must've been!! We HATE the v-e-t (what kitty doesn't??!)

We all got "chipped" this year, too - but we NEVER even thought about our information going to Santa!! Oh, the horror - that means that we will all have to actually behave instead of blaming each other for our naughtiness!! (there's safety in numbers!!)

Hopefully you won't have to go back for a long time!!

  32. We are all getting chipped one by one, too. We sometimes cause a racket in the car also, and mewmie knows to travel with extra bedding, baby wipes, ziploc bags and air freshener...guess you can figure out why...
