Tabby and Tuxie Tuesday

I've been a really good girl this week.  That's more than I can say for my sister Bennette and her Tuxie-tude.  Bennette tried to follow Jonesie around the garden since she thinks she can be a garden cat too.   Bennette said if Jonesie could do it, how hard could it be?

Bennette had long philosophical conversations with Jonesie about proper planting and snoopervision.

She followed her from garden bed to garden bed.

And then...it happened.  Bennette got all full of herself and threw a punch at Jonesie!

Bennette realizing her mistake, tried to follow Jonesie to make up for it, but Jonesie had enough of that nonsense.  Jonesie gave Bennette her backside.
Now all Bennette can do is beg for forgiveness.

  1. Well now that is a sad story. Cats need to think before acting!

  2. Well, it does look as if there is enough gardening to do for Benette to help, if they can just work out the logisitcs ......

  3. Benette will learn how to snoopervise properly soon if she keeps getting the swipe. Hopefully she will be forgiven.

  4. We can see Bennette is begging for forgiveness and we know Jonesie is very responsible and mature for her age, so maybe Bennette will get lucky this time!...xo...Calle, Halle, Sukki

  5. If Benette wants to help in the garden, she betta learn hat she will start as a most JUNIOR trainee to Jonesie ~ and she will hafta be at the beck and call of Jonesie at ALL times. And smack-pawing will NOT be tolerated at all!

An' I fink as punishment for throwing a punch at my best friend Jonesie, Benette shud be on WEEDING duty for a WHOLE week.

  8. We were going to ask if Benette has grounding powers, but then we saw that face and how could we possibly want her to be grounded?!

  10. We think Bennette learned a good lesson...we hope Jonesie will forgive her because it looks like there's enough work in that garden for 2 cats to snoopervise!!

  12. We hope you the girls can work through this! We think that Bennette got a little drunk on all the power of being a garden cat and couldn't help herself!

  14. Yes, you are a very good girl, Ginger. All you're doing is reporting facts today.

What were you thinking, Bennette? That is certainly no way to endear yourself to Jonesie!

Something tells me forgiveness is not in the immediate future (if ever).

  15. Uh oh. The paw smackie is never a good thing. Maybe a good nap and all will be forgotten?
Salem says that Benette's hiney looks just like hers! Slim and trim with white knee socks. WE think Salem might have some of Benette's 'tude...just sayin'.

  19. Maybe Bennette can come over and play with Dushi in our garden. Dushi is a bit lonely outside these days. He loves playing follow the leader and catchase and whap around with other cats.

  28. Oh no! Poor Jonesie. The garden is her territory! Bennette is so cute though and she's apologising... not like my brother Kenji, he hits me and NEVER apologises...
    Your garden beds look wonderful!
