Tabby Tattletale Tuesday

We had a scare the other night because the news was reporting that the water supply on the west side of Portland was contaminated with E Coli. The trouble was they weren't being very specific. Mom was all confused and upset because she didn't know if she would need to boil our water or what. Silly news people. Tell us to tune in. BREAKING NEWS. Then tell us nothing. Good thing mom could find answers on the computer. Our water was fine...I could resume my normal position. Head under faucet. There is nothing finer than water from the tap...or filtered water from mom's cup. I still don't know why she calls it Ginger's cup once my face has been stuck in it. She can have it back.
Meanwhile....Cory was beside herself happy because she found Chey this weekend hiding out at Mt. St. Helens. Cory is such a young whippersnapper that she had no idea what really happened that day on the mountain when it blew in 1980. Harry Truman and his 16 or so kitties perished in the blast. That made Cory upset. She has no idea that kitties were involved. Hey, it's my job to tell the truth around here. She'll get over it eventually.

  1. Yes, I personally have been disturbed by Harry's cats. I mean if Harry didn't care about himself, those cats should have had the choice to evacuate! Ah well... Specism.

  2. We're glad your water is safe.

I'll never understand Harry Truman's decision. If I thought there was the slighest chance they my cats where in danger I would be out of there, fast!

  11. We're glad your water is okay. That would be a terrible thing if kitties couldn't have fresh water in their mama's glass. No matter how many bowls of fresh water my kitties have, they prefer my water in a glass. It must taste different or something.

Congrats to Cory on guessing Chey's mystery -- even if she had no idea what it was all about. That is very hard to do

  17. Glad the water is ok. What would you do without it. Drink milk? Well maybe, that wouldn't be so bad.

  18. Why the hell didn't Harry get his cats out? What a mean man!

Ginger, you need your own glass, just like Au and Target have. Theirs is a nice glass, with a wide top for easy whisker movement.

  21. Glad the water is safe!

And wow, I knew about the people who died on Mt St Helens, and I assumed that wildlife had been killed too, but had no idea about the kitties - and I am with the Paw Relations - we would have packed up and left if there was even a chance the kitties were in harms way.
