I hate the flashy box.
Ok, I'm afraid of it. Mom and dad have imagined all sorts of stories of why I hate it so much. Their favorite is that my former owner who relinquished me to the pound was arrested in a blaze of flashing police car lights and flashlights, followed by my trip to the police line up. So for me to volunteer to pose for a professional photographer to raise money for homeless dogs is a big deal.
I did this last year too. I started out with my usual just arrested guilty look.
Then I progressed to my full frontal mug shot.
Followed by the obligatory side view.
Then with the support of my friend and photographer
Bob, I gave them what they wanted. The real me!
It's for a good cause
after all! Bob took photos of
woofies every 15 minutes all day long to raise funds for the
Family Dogs New Life shelter. A ton of money was raised and I went home feeling good.

ReplyDeleteGete, our doggies always looks like they are gettin' a mug-shot, too, and momma can't figure out why cuz she alwyas has a treat in her mouth for them. Yes, you read right, she puts a dog cookie in her mouth to get their attention - YUCK! Now, stinky goodness - that would be a better choice☺ You are a good woofie Gete.
