Christmas Eve in the Garden with Jonesie

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring except for Jonesie.  All the stockings were hung and everyone was being good...but Jonesie was curious about Santa and where he might land...she put so much care into her garden she was hoping he'd land there.  She made sure she placed goodies in the garden for the reindeer to snack on.

She left the house to go out in the yard...she thought she saw something, but couldn't be sure.

Back in the woods, there was something she was certain.  She gathered up Ginger to help her investigate.  Do you see what I see?   Did you hear that sound?

Ginger and Jonesie stayed hidden behind the tree.   This is what they saw....

"Ho ho ho!  Sweet little kittens", said Santa.  "Go back inside and you'll find your gifts.   Thank you Jonesie for having such a nice garden where we can rest a minute before delivering the rest of the gifts to all the good boys and girls."  Jonesie and Ginger stared wide eyed at Santa.  The next thing they knew they were waking up from a nice nap...

Thank yoo Jonesie, for all your help this year training me to be a gardener ~ I couldn't have done it wivout yoo. Let's hope we have a fabulous 2010 in the garden together.

I think we should have a BAR-B-Q garden party this year! We should plan it in advance and invite effuryone. We could wear straw hats and have a markee (a big garden tent) and play croquet and stuff. Wot do yoo think?

Happy Christmas to yoo all. Have a wonderful time! And I hope Santa brings yoo all loadsa presents.

  20. Wow Jonesie! That was so nice of you to leave treats for Santa's reindeer in your garden. It is obvious he and the reindeer enjoy it. I'm sure Santa also appreciated a pretty place to rest. Great job!

    Merry Christmas to you all!
