Mancat Monday

I'm always a bit sad when Christmas is over.  I love sitting under the Christmas tree with all the lights and the smell of the tree.

New Years Day is the day the tree comes down...the lights get put away for another year.

Sigh.

  3. Yeah! Just like Sparkle, we had NO tree this year. Just our Blog Mom sitting around with a heating pad on her belly and she wouldn't even let us SIT on it! We better have a tree next year or there will be trouble.

  4. Aw, we always wait for the 12th day of Christmas to take ours down, so Leo, who seems to love the lights too, gets more time with his sparklies.

  7. We will not be taking our tree down until after Epiphany so we have a few more days of enjoying the lights. It is always a bit sad to take it down, but we know there will be another one next Christmas!

  8. No tree here at the Swamp... except for the little 4' tree in Nana's TV room where the cats are Not Allowed.

  11. We left our tree alone this year, the mom was VERY impressed. And it came down on the 27th, too, because it had gone up so early in November. So we've been back to normal in the house for a week now. :-)

  15. We got a tree the year, but Mommie could not wait to take it down. She packed away everything on the day after Christmas.

  19. I was verreh relieved when the Human said we can keep all our Krissymouse decorations up till next Caturday. When she was a little girl, everything always stayed out till "Little Krissymouse" on January 6, so we have four more days! YAY!

  20. Maybe you could tell the humans that over here one can keep the tree up until the 6th of January when the three king came and they will grant you more time with it next year. You sure look like you will be missing that tree, Nigel.
Happy New Year to all of you!
