Fun On Friday with Grete

Hi there! Want to play ball?  It's Friday and it's time to have some fun!!!

Jonesie never wants to play with my ball.  I just don't understand.  She doesn't even like the sound of the squeaker in it.  I could squeak my ball all day long!

Have a great Friday!

  2. Maybe your ball is a little too big for Jonsie to roll in the grass. Balls are my favorite toys, too. Enjoy your squeaky ball, Grete, and have a great weekend.

  3. Hahaha!
That was a funny video! I don't think I would like a ball that squeaked either, but my distant woofie brother (Mummy's mum's dog) LOVES them!

  17. Grete, great video. Jonesie doesn't seem the least bit interested in your ball.

  18. We don't play with balls...Mommy on the other hand would be happy to toss one out all day! Our Mommy was well trained hundreds of years ago, in her youth, by a black lab mix named Buddy.

  19. Grete, you are just beautyful running for your ball with furs flying! it is obvious, though, that Jonesie does not care about it.

  24. Hi Grete! We don't get why Jonesie doesn't want to play with your ball - we have a toy with a squeaker and we like it just fine! But think of it this way - that means more time for you to play with it!!

  25. Jonsie would probably rather play with a sparkly ball. I love those! Grete would probably eat a sparkly ball.

  26. Grete, you are a real love! I'm glad you're feeling all better now, and it's wonderful to watch you play ball with your Dad.

Cats are just so purrsnickety -- they can't help it, it's who they are! Jonesie can handle a little squeaking, I think.

  27. That looks like fun Grete. Maybe if you chewed the squeaker out, Jonesie would play ball with you.

  30. I play fetch too, Grete! (don't tell anyone though, us kitties aren't supposed to do that!) You look like you were having such fun - Our Mom's Mom's dog (was that right??) just annoyed us when we lived together. She had to carry that darn ball around with her everywhere, squeaking! The loud noise was maddening! So we can empathize with Jonsie not wanting to participate.

    Have a great weekend!

  31. I think Jonesie doesn't want to play because that ball is kinda big for a kitty....maybe he doesn't like the squeaky part because he had a traumatic experience with a mouse once and ever since, squeaky toys make him remember that horrible moment...well, those are my thoughts...frankly, I don't get why dogs like squeaky things and aren't interested in string...string is GREAT!! I'll take string over ball ANY DAY!! We hope you find a ball playing buddy, but we think you'll have to stick with the canine group and forget the feline group...Sorry!! Purrs, Lautrec and Tiny
